Cala Goloritzè, located in Ogliastra on Sardinia’s east coast, is truly mesmerizing. This trekking route guides you through breathtaking landscapes leading to the magnificent Cala, a nature’s marvel nestled within the Ogliastra coastline. The trail snakes through passages of white limestone, bestowing upon you the untamed splendor of its surroundings as well as an insight into the region’s distinct geological features. You’ll be able to take in the Aguglia di Goloritzè, a natural monument attracting climbers worldwide, and the towering rocky arch over the sea, an emblematic feature of this location, that stands guard over the northern edge of the Capo Montesanto promontory. The picturesque white beach, and the sparkling clear waters, where you can submerge yourself in tranquil moments of serenity, are also sights to behold.
