Savor a day outside of Riga for an exclusive tour of two palaces, one castle, and the Hill of Crosses in our private day tour. You’ll ride in a premium van or 4WD Business class vehicle, depending on the number of passengers.
We’ve also planned a selection of additional highlights to enrich your day trip. Choose according to your preferences and mood from the following:
• A 30-min lunch at the Rundale Palace (starting at 4 EUR per person)
• A 30-min visit to the Motor Museum (4 EUR per person)
• An hour’s visit to a winery with wine tasting (+10 EUR per person, or minimum 70 EUR)
• A 1.5-hour visit to a beer brewery with beer tasting (+12 EUR per person, or minimum 85 EUR)
Our driver/guide will pick you up from any location in Riga no later than 10 AM to start your fulfilling and captivating day. You will be visiting the Rundale Palace, Jelgava Palace, Bauska Castle, and Hill of Crosses with an anticipated tour duration of approximately 8 hours.

Great way to spend the day - Really enjoyed my time on this tour. Big thanks to Paul for making this happen - fun an knowledgeable guy, he shared some nice insights about the history of the places we visited and nicely rounded out the whole experience.

Fantastic trip to Rundale Palace - We were on a group tour and had a free day, and planned to visit the Soviet Bunker, but the bunker trip was cancelled due to multiple school children visits. Paul suggested we visit Rundale Palace and Bauska Castle instead. Great choice, thoroughly enjoyed the palace, like a smaller Versailles. He personally drove us there and got us tickets and oriented.

Great Day Out - We were picked up at the hotel by our guide and driver. We got on really well from the start and enjoyed Pauls company and conversation. Rundale Palace was amazing, we were happy to visit out of season as there were no crowds and we could take our time to take photos. We ate the potato pancakes in the restaurant and a piece of Chocolate cake before finishing off with some Cherry Balsam.
Hill of Crosses was interesting, we had a walk around and purchased a cross at the local stall and left it on the hill before leaving.
