Perfect experience - Everything was just perfect. The crew, the food and the magical atmosphere. I have been a couple of times in the white desert before but first time with Amir and it was my favourite of all my trips there.

Truly magical - Had a wonderful experience on this tour. Camping in the white desert is a truly magical experience and left both myself and my friend wishing for more. Our guide accommodated us well and cooked a wonderful bedouin camp dinner for our group at night.
Hotel accomodation on the second night was also lovely and had a cool spring nearby within walking distance.
Only notes to mention would be that the entrance fee for the white desert is not included as part of the tour, and you will be asked to pay extra on arrival - so be sure to have extra cash on you.
There is also very little to do on the second day, and the internet isnt great - so if you are looking to be productive with your time, perhaps only go for the 1 night option and just do the desert camping.

Fully recommended - The 3-day tour of the Oasis and the White Desert was an incredible experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the first moment, everything was perfectly organized. Our Guide was friendly, knowledgeable about local history and always attentive to our needs.
The Oasis is a paradise in the middle of the desert, with its palm trees and hot springs that make you forget that you are in the middle of the Sahara. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the white desert, with its surreal rock formations that look like they were taken from another world. The sunset over the dunes and the night under the stars was a magical experience.
The camping accommodation was comfortable and the food authentic and delicious. We felt safe and well cared for throughout the tour. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the most impressive and unique side of Egypt.

Dont spend too much time in Cairo and come to the desert - Amazing experience. The best possible way to scape from busy Cairo and immerse into the quietness but full of entertainment Egyptian desert. The team organised everything really good and we had the best possible experience. Super skilled 4x4 drivers that are really into making the best out of your trip and Amir, the manager, was helpful from weeks before our arrival to the last minute of the tour.
Ive been in the Sahara before but i never seen such a different landscapes and incredible sights in the desert, also the sandboarding was extremely fun. Im still spitting stones.. xD

Experience of a lifetime - We had the most amazing trip. I cannot fault anything. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating the desert scenery incredible, the overnight desert experience wonderful.
The atmosphere and ambiance in the hotel and desert camp such a refreshing change from Cairo chaos.
If we have a chance in our lifetimes (we are 70) we will definitely come back.

Black Desert, White Desert, Local Tour_March 2024 - Day 1 was long drive from Cairo to hotel and fast paced and lots of activities lined up. Highlights included Black Desert, White Desert, and Crystal Mountain. Lots of interesting geological formations and processes. Camping in the White Desert was fun for the most part. The sunset and sun rise was the perfect photo op. The meal portion was large (enough for two people) but quality could use some improvement. However, a wind storm came through and whipped up sand that forced us to our tents early - almost immediately after dinner. All camping necessities were provided but uncertain if the sleeping bags were cleaned after every use. The night was cold but the sleeping bag was warm. A mattress and heavy blanket was provided. I used the blanket as a pillow.
I suggest you bring warm clothing during this time of the year, baby wipes, and flash light. Any items related to camping for creature comfort is recommended.
Day 2 and 3 was slow paced. Day 2 returned from camping. Assigned a hotel room, assigned a hotel room, lunch, and started local tour in the afternoon. The local tour was less impressive but intriguing nevertheless. Highlights included the English House, lava field, sand dunes, palm grooves, salt lake, local market, and the local community. Be advised, the local community is visibly under-developed as expected from a third-world country. The day ended with a request for the tour guide (Mahmoud) to have dinner and shisha at a local restaurant. The meal and shisha was good but really enjoyed a great conversation with Mahmoud. Thanks my friend!
The hotel room was cozy and clean. Although the heater didn’t work, the blanket kept warm throughout the night. Hot water was available and really feels great washing all the sand off your body.
Day 3 woke up to breakfast and preparation to be transported back on the long trip to Cairo. Don’t expect any fancy food. It’s good to fill you up if you look past the bland taste. Wi-Fi did not work for the duration of the entire trip.
Improvements:
- Although the provided meals portions were good the quality could be improved and served hot.
-WiFi should be available at all times.
Applauded:
- Hospitality was amazing from all staff members. Thanks you Ezz, Mahmoud, and Amir.
- Movement coordination was good.
Advice: There are sharp rocks in the spring water pool. Be careful about jumping into the pool. You may cut your foot like I did.
