Gebel al Ingleez White Desert - Gebel Al Mudawara

Seven kilometers south of the waterfall, on the eastern side of the road, lies the scenic area known as Al Mudawara, or The Lookout. This area features three mountains along the lakeshore and is a popular picnic spot.

Wadi El-Rayan - Wadi El Rayan

Wadi El Rayan is a depression 42 meters below sea level, covering 673 square kilometers. In 1966, it became a water reservoir when connected to Qarun Lake by an underground pipe.

Fayoum - El Minya

Tell el-Amarna - The Museum of Kom Aushim

The Museum of Kom Aushim is an excellent place to find guides to all parts of Fayoum. Established in 1974, it showcases artifacts from the Prehistoric to Roman periods, including Fayoum Portraits.

Karanis, known as “The Lord’s Town,” is one of the largest Greco-Roman cities in Fayoum. Founded in the third century B.C., it was originally inhabited by mercenaries from Ptolemy II’s army. The city features two temples.

At 11:00, travel to the Hawara Pyramid (Arsinoiton Polis).

Minya Governorate - The Pyramid of Hawara (Arsinoiton Polis) was constructed by King Amunemhat III during the twelfth dynasty. Although its casing was removed in Roman times, the site remains one of Egypt’s most significant archaeological discoveries.
