Amazing Tour! - First time visiting Roatan and had a blast with our guide “Dewey” from Get Salty Roatan Tours. We booked the private tour and we visited Aj’s Monkeys and sloth and the chocolate and rum cake factory. From start to finish Dewey explained every places we visited, he explained so well it made me want to live in Roatan lol. My foot muscle got tight as I came off my ship and Dewey was very supportive and helpful. Attached are pictures from our tour, I definitely would recommend Get Salty tours to anybody who’s traveling either by air or sea to book a tour with them as the tour was very informative, inexpensive and comfortable. BEST EXCURSION choice in Roatan! Clean and Safe tour for families! - Dewey was great at correspondence while booking and more than accommodating to our group of 12-ranging from age 11 to 73! He gave great directions for where to get picked up at the cruise port & was on time getting us back to the ship! He had a very nice/clean/air conditioned van with complimentary water. He was very knowledgeable about Roatan and showed us so many hidden gems of this beautiful city. We loved the sloth and monkey sanctuary! Dewey and his family offered a top notch excursion for a great price and we had the best day of our trip with him.He was so kind to take a few group pictures for us as well. I would highly recommend this tour if you are coming to Roatan!

Best choice ever! - David met us (myself, my husband, and best friend) directly after walking off the boat and took us to see sloths, birds and monkeys! what a pleasure. Then proceeded to take us to the reef where we were taken by boat to the reef for an 1.5-hour tour which was amazing, the water the reef, shells, fish, and huge lobsters. He then took us to another area to take a boat over to a private beach where we were able to get food, swim and hang out. David ensured we spent enough time at each adventure and that we made our cruise ship back in enough time to shop. We will be back soon! and back to having David to show us around again! Thank you David your amazing and made our day!

Fantastic Option for Travellers - Visited Roatan on a cruise this February. Despite a very hectic meeting area (where all the cruise passengers meet their excursion guides), our guide (Monique) was ready and waiting for us (extra kudos to her for arriving so early to get parking and wait for us). Monique was extremely friendly and kind, allowing us to decide what we wanted to do, anything we might want to add, and how long to stay at each place. She was able to get us to a few stops (like the Sloth/Monkey sanctuary) early enough to avoid the crowds. We then added some stops of our own including a hunt for some fruit smoothies (Celulus! Yum). When we said we wanted to try local dishes like baleadas, Monique found us a fabulous local spot - a gas station! It might sound silly, but it was FANTASTIC! Great food and great price, without any extra schtick for tourists. Each stop Monique was also very kind helping us to order and wait whenever needed. Our last stop was the beach - a beautiful place to relax at the end of the day. Again Monique went out of her way, sitting at a table to 'hold our place' and watch our stuff when we went out into the water. Monique also made sure that we were back to the cruise dock with plenty of time, anticipating the heavy traffic that would be there near the departure time. Overall, this was a great tour that allowed us to see a variety of sites around Roatan, have some unique experiences, and enjoy ourselves away from a busy group tour. Thanks again to Monique for such a wonderful visit (get some sleep, Monique!).

Monique is The Best! - I can’t begin to recommend Monique with Get Salty Tours. She was delightful starting from helping me find a SIM card to letting us use her WiFi. She took special care of our family including Jake. She went above and beyond. I appreciate her and the time she spent with us! Sloths and Monkey Tour is a Must!

Roatan - We had a great city tour with Davin. Davin was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He gave us a lot of insight about life in Roatan. Highly recommended.

Great choice for excursion. - The driver was very friendly and accommodating. We were late getting off and he assured us we had plenty of time. The stops were small and the sanctuary was well worth it. My kids loved the sloths. Then we asked to skip the rum factory and went straight to the beach which was perfect. We went to a place called banana Rama. The food was good and not overpriced. The water was clear and calm. Overall an excellent day

Monkey around in Honduras - A private tour is the way to go! Dewy and his son were great tour guides and very hospitable. They knew the island and history very well. We enjoyed the time at the animal sanctuary and beach time. Thank you for the great tour!
