- French Harbour - Guests will enjoy a 1-hour drift snorkeling exploration at various sites on the world’s second-largest and most stunning coral reef barrier. This underwater marine adventure offers a chance to see vibrant coral, fish, starfish, and occasionally nurse sharks. After the marine adventure, it’s time for sun and relaxation during a beach break. Guests can sink their toes into the white, powdery sand or enjoy the warm, crystal-clear Caribbean waters. With a private waiter at their service, guests can enjoy beverages or order lunch without leaving their chairs. They will spend approximately 3 hours at this facility before returning to their ship.

From start to finish this... - From start to finish this was an excellent day out! The best bit was the snorkelling as we had plenty of time and saw sting rays, a turtle and a fantastic variety of tropical fish with such amazing colours! The beach at the end was a lovely way to relax and enjoy the beautiful Honduran scenery. Highly recommend.

Excellent day for 3 generations of women - We had an excellent experience with Lushan as our guide. Our party of 4 (2 Gramma's, mom and 19yr old daughter) was picked up at the port in a clean cool vehicle, driver was safe, friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone loved the animal sanctuary and interacting with animals, the staff there was great also. A short drive to the pontoon boat was easy to get on and off, the water was crystal clear and calm, snorkeling was easy and safe and again the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Snorkeling boat dropped us off at the island beach which was also beautiful with kayaks, paddleboards, chairs for sun and shade, calm clear swimming, bar and restaurant, bathrooms and outdoor showers. Timing for the day was flexible as we arranged pickup time with driver based on our ship schedule and personal needs. The ferry ride back from island is a short (few minutes) easy pontoon boat ride back to the driver and guide who drops you off right at the port entry. Safe and easy, Roatan was beautiful and I hope to return again.

Great Time! - This was the first time we have booked a 3rd party on a cruise and it was great. Traveling with a family of 8 teenagers and older. Jessica was awesome and very friendly the whole time. Everyone in Roatan speaks great English and they want you to feel comfortable because it’s their main source of income for the island, tourism. It was very busy when we exited the port but even other tour guides were leading people to pick up locations. The tour was awesome, monkeys and sloths were close up and could touch. The snorkel was for beginners but my family enjoyed and the beach break was just the right amount of time. Good time had by all.

Sloths were amazing, the snorkeling and water was so beautiful and the reefs were all over, maybe the best snorkel ever! - Kessi was an awesome tour guide, she was very informative and made us feel at home. I will definitely be coming back to Honduras!

Royal Caribbean - Family Excursion - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G - If you’re considering booking this tour, here are the questions you’re probably asking:
1. Is this a scam?
Absolutely not. We booked excursions through Royal Caribbean, and this one was by far the best. It was a bit hectic locating our guide at pickup, but we connected within five minutes.
2. Will you be safe?
Yes. Our local guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Honduras and especially skilled at navigating traffic safely.
3. Is it lower quality than a Royal Caribbean excursion?
Not at all. In fact, we were with other Royal Caribbean passengers at the same destination. The entire experience was top-notch.
The highlight of the trip was our guide, Carlos. He was warm, kind, and full of insight about the island. He even waited in the parking lot for over an hour past our scheduled time—just to make sure we connected.
Bottom line: Book with confidence and enjoy a more competitive rate, too.

Highlight of our Cruise - What a splendid surprise this tour was! I am so glad the internet led us to Roatan Breakaway Tours! This is one on the ball group! The kids loved the animal house. The snorkeling was beyond belief really and the beach hangout time was so much fun. Every aspect of the excursion was professionally handled. They were very accommodating and flexible to our group of 14, including small children. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, especially this particular excursion. Book with confidence and know you will have an unforgettable day!

Breakaway tours - Great tour just you, your friend and family and a driver. The driver even stopped off at a fruit stand so we could get fresh fruit. You don’t get to hold the Sloths anymore but still good. The snorkeling was great but the private beach at the end was the best part. Not too crowded and great service. You could even get a great massage right on the beach.

Awesome animal excursion! - Met our guide at the cruise terminal for a 25 min ride to AJ’s Sloths and Monkeys. My 4 yr old and 8 yr old sons said AJ’s was the highlight of their whole trip! We got to hold guinea pigs, interact with monkeys (they will jump on your head and grab your hat!) and pose with sloths. Regulations prohibit holding sloths after April 1st, so we were bummed to miss that but it was still more than enough fun to pose with the sloths for some awkward side hugs! Next we did an open ocean snorkel with a group of about 15 on a small diving boat. The reef was a little disappointing to me, and wasn’t as vibrant and colorful as I had hoped. Our guide opted to take our group to a farther out reef for improved vieweing. This was advertised as a drift snorkel, but it certainly was not. The currents were very strong and huge waves tossed us about in the water. It was too strenuous for many in our group, including my 8 yr old, who is a very strong swimmer. We ended up spending most of that hour on the boat instead, which was disappointing for sure. We ended the day relaxing on chair and swimming at Brady’s Cay, which was a small beach club with food and drink for reasonable purchase. I don’t think this is a good snorkeling tour for kids, so keep that in mind when you are booking.
