Guests will be picked up directly from their cruise port in a private vehicle and transported to an ecological park, where they can observe sloths, monkeys, and scarlet macaws. Following this, there will be a visit to a chocolate factory to learn about the production process and sample a variety of chocolates. The next stop will be a rum factory to taste rum cakes and various rums. The final destination is West Bay, one of Roatán’s most stunning beaches, featuring white sand and crystal-clear water. Here, guests can unwind at the Henry Morgan Resort with a day pass, enjoying all its amenities, including a restaurant and bar for those who wish to purchase food or drinks. This combination of activities is ideal for those seeking both fun and relaxation.

Best Roatan excursion - The tour with Jeimi was terrific. She was knowlegable and charming ( and a very good driver, which is quite an asset on the bumpy, narrow roads of Roatan). After a long and crowded walk from the ship, Jeimi was very welcoming and took us to the monkey and sloth habitat. The trainer was informative and we had fun with the energetic monkey and the calm sloth. Then we went to the chocolate and rum factories and finally to West Bay Beach. Jeimi kept her eye on the time and made sure that we would make it back to the ship in time. We were very grateful for her professionalism and attention. It was terrific day on Roatan and we would highly recommend Roucan Excursions when visiting Roatan.

Rainy but delightful - The communication from this company was fantastic. We were a little delayed coming from the cruise ship and they had called to check in and see if we were still coming (which we were) - and the tour guide was waiting for us and found us. It was a rainy day but the guide had brought an umbrella to the car. It was a private tour which was amazing and we had a full day planned to visit the monkeys, chocolate factory and the beach. However given how rainy it was we skipped the beach and went to the rum factory instead. After we finished there was plenty of time so we also did a driving city tour of rohatan and our guide provided knowledge of the city. Our guide was amazing, friendly and the best host we could have had. We felt at home with her and this is one of the best tours we have had in a long time.

Ready to do it again!!! - We had a great tour guide, Alfredo, that took us to our little tour spots. He took pictures of us and stopped at a few specialty shops we wanted to see. The beach was wonderful and served us our cold drinks!! Had a wonderful time all day!!

You have to try this private tour. Request Jamie. You will not be disappointed. - You have to try this private tour! This is a beautiful island and a good guide is invaluable.
Jamie, our guide, lives here and has a lot of experience to share. There are a lot of local details that are interesting and we were soaking it all up. We did the tour our way. We decided where and when to stop with excellent recommendations from Jamie.
The chocolate was good. The animal rescue is a must see. Those critters are so well behaved and my wife really felt good with the sloth hugs!
When we return to the island we will book again and fill in gaps since there is so much to explore here!
I’m sure the other guides are excellent but we had the best and if you can get Jamie consider yourself among the luckiest tourists on the island!
We’ll be back with Toucan and will request Jamie!

A Great Day in Roatán with Cynthia - It was our first time in Roatán, and Cynthia took us on an amazing private tour around the entire island. She told us a lot about Roatán's history and how the locals live in their daily lives. We visited the animal sanctuary, where we got to see sloths, monkeys, and birds. After the tour, she took us to the chocolate factory, where we learned how organic chocolate is made and were given a short presentation. Then, we headed to West Bay Beach to enjoy a relaxing beach day. This tour was incredible, and we ended it with a visit to the rum factory at the end of the day. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend it. Thanks for the hospitality!

Roatan, Honduras private tour - Amazing tour of the island of Roatan! Our guide Cynthia was super friendly and kinda, she was very attentive and brought us to places no other tour would go. 11/10 would recommend to anybody looking to tour around the island!

Great Day in Roatán: A Personalized Family Tour - Our family truly enjoyed this personalized tour from the moment we were warmly welcomed by our host and driver, Cynthia. She was incredibly kind and made us feel special throughout. She was very attentive as we visited the animal sanctuary, which was a lovely experience. Next, we went to the chocolate factory, where we enjoyed chocolate tastings and a talk they provided. We then visited the West End village, which Cynthia recommended we see in case we return to Roatán by plane. Afterward, we spent a day at West Bay Beach, an amazing beach that we highly recommend. Cynthia also showed us the beautiful scenery of Roatán during the 20-minute drive from West Bay Beach to the cruise port. Thank you for everything.

The Best of Roatan in One Day - We had an amazing day in Roatan! Our driver, Jeimi, was very kind and super communicative. She took us to see the sloths, monkeys, and birds, which we really enjoyed. Then, we visited the chocolate and rum factory, and everything was delicious. We also took a tour through West End, where we saw all the dive shops, restaurants, and bars in the area and beautiful beach. After that, we headed to West Bay Beach, where everything was already set up for our beach day, at Henry Morgan for day pass, including beach chairs, a pool, and more. We enjoyed the sea and sand without ever feeling rushed. We made it back to the ship on time. We recommend this experience 100%! Thank you for this wonderful day.

Amazing day in Roatan highly recommended - Our visit to Roatán was amazing, and it was all thanks to the great tour we took. Our guide, Tannia, made the experience unforgettable. She was so kind and knowledgeable about the island, which made our time in Roatán really enjoyable. The tour was well-organized, and we always felt taken care of. We visited the animal sanctuary, tasted rum and chocolate, and stopped for photos at beautiful viewpoints on our way to West Bay Beach, where we had a day pass at Henry Morgan Resort. The beach was the highlight of our day; it truly felt like paradise. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this tour if you want a unique experience in Roatán!
