Incredible experience - We also have a boat cruise as part of the tour, it worth every pennies. The walk was relatively easy, had a late 70s traveling with us, no problem at all. The day was overcast and drizzle a bit unfortunately but that’s part of the nature! There are some picnic tables and seats, bring some food and drinks with you for the walk. Visitor centre’s staff was great. The commentary on the boat was excellent, loved kiwi’s sense of humour :)

Great bushland scenic walk. - Some pretty scenery with the hike down the hill being relatively easy, the boat was closed at the time of our visit unfortunately. The hike up and over the hill was a little more intense so ensure you are of a good level of fitness as recommended.

Wow - Was a lovely area Lil disappointed I couldn’t do the full walk or boat due to renovations but what I did was mesmerising. Thankful the bus journey back up and the lil tour guide chat from the driver as I went in to explore areas he’d spoken about

Ring re availability as website unreliable - Walk plus cruise was fully booked four days out from wanting to go. Tried again two days out and was successful. Assumed they made available another cruise or some people pulled out. Left disappointed on turning up to advise cruise not available, only the walk, due to maintenance despite website letting us book both options. Was promised part refund but travelled far to see the full experience. Walk ok.
