The transfer is made by the hotel bus to Bayahibe and in Bayahibe we will enjoy the excursion, boat, lunch, drinks, catamaran and more. Travelers will enjoy 8 hours of excursion between the pick-up, the natural pool, the beach and the party on the catamaran .

On the Saona Island tour we will visit the natural pool with the speedboat where the finest sand bank is to bathe, have fun with the sea stars, that place is called (Lagun Azul) then we will continue to observe the channel that divides the Saona island with mainland the channel of (Catuano). There we will be in the Caribbean paradise We have lunch on the island and we will return on a catamaran with the party, music and drinks.
Important note: the Saona Island tour is an excursion shared with groups, normally the boat can hold 30 to 45 people and the catamaran, which has a capacity of X, can hold 50 to 60 people due to its capacity, it is not an excursion. VIP that is not all personalized, the VIP is one or 2 even a group with everything alone. But it is a private company excursion.

Max is the best - I cannot say enough good things about Max. Not only did we have an excellent tour with him, he also drove from Punta Cana and Samana and back in a day all so my girlfriend and I could be comfortable. He charged us a very reasonable price and is a fantastic guy.

Excellent visit to Saône Island together with Max - It's an unforgettable experience. Start with the on-time pick-up from the hotel by the Max host. They are very comfortable and air-conditioned. The boat ride is good, very comfortable. The visit to the natural pool excellent. Good weather. Livened up with rum and coke. The visit to the island is excellent, Max takes care of getting a suitable location near the buffet. Finally Max embarks you on a catamaran with good entertainment. Finally Max drops you off at the hotel. Excellent service. 100% reliable and recondensed. Thank you very much Max.

Recommended - It was very good, totally recommended, the places are beautiful and the attention is also very good, throughout the tour we were given drinks and rum. The food was also good, not much variety, but it is delicious.

Lovely excursion - We booked this experience as it looked better value than some of the others, with Speedboat and a covered catamaran.
We were given an English speaking guide named Max. He was very good and helped us out with everything.
The crew were really friendly, pouring out drinks and creating a great party atmosphere.

Good - Everything was fine, but the time spent on Saona Island was too short—only 2.5 hours. Also, the free time at the natural pool lasted only half an hour. In the end, it felt like everyone expected a tip.

Beautiful and Fun Tour, but Transportation is very long - This is a complicated tour and overall they did a great job. Coordinating multiple vans, boats, groups, and keeping everyone together, engaged, and fed is very tough and Max handled it well. The natural pool and Saona Island were beautiful highlights from our trip. They also provide lunch and beverages which were highly appreciated.
Our only gripe was that we were in the car for 2.5 hours during the morning pickup and another 2ish hours for the nighttime dropoff. We were the first to be picked up at 7:30am and the last to be dropped off around 8pm. That’s a long time to be in the cramped van. It’s a long circuit as they pick up one family/couple at a time from each hotel. Our resort was in Uvero Alto, which is about 20 mins further than Bavaro. For reference: the direct time from our hotel to the port is about 1hr 20min. We had to go through Bavaro both times which relies on a tiny traffic-choked street. We requested to get dropped off first on the way home since our morning ride was so long, but this was politely denied.
I think the pickup and dropoff could have been done more efficiently if they split us into 2 vans to reduce everyone’s ride time - one for Bavaro hotels, one for non-Bavaro hotels. If not, it would have been nice to know ahead of time how long we’d be in the van for in order to be mentally prepared. Because the pickups took so long, the Saona island part (the main event and best part) felt rushed at less than 2hrs.
In conclusion: Saona Island is beautiful, natural pool is beautiful, boats were good, tour was coordinated very well and fun, transportation was too long and took away from the experience.

An island to be seen!!!! - In itself, the excursion was fine. Next time I would rather pay more money and go on a trip like this with a smaller group.
• take your long clothes with you because it is very cold on the bus!
• more frequently transfer from one boat to the other.
• the buffet was good too! Be sure to try the fruit!
• a MUST: try the pineapple with piña colada without alcohol! For 12$ super delicious!!!
