Sophie was a Fantastic Tour Guide!! - On October 5, 2024, my wife and I participated in the “D-Day American Beaches and US Airborne Full Day Tour from Bayeux”. I cannot say enough good things about our tour guide, Sophie. Sophie was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable in the manner in which she conducted our tour. Sophie made the entire tour enjoyable! Sophie ensured that we knew what was going on and told us many facts about the locations we visited. I have a bad back and I accidentally left my “Lumbar Support Cushion” in the tour van at the end of the day. Sophie found the cushion in her van, and knowing which tour I was going to be on the next day, she went out of her way to make sure that the next day’s tour guide had my cushion for me. Sophie took care of each of us as if we were members of her own family! Best way to tour the Beaches and Museums. All around wonderful experience. - Best group tour I have taken. The tour guide was a delight, very personable, knowledgeable and accommodating. The group was small which allowed for easy discussions and sharing of information. It was a relaxed and informative tour. I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Wonderful WWII learning and remembering experiences - Sophie with HQ was wonderful. The consensus was that the following were our favorites: Omaha, Utah, Pont du Hoc, St Mere Eglise (especially the museum) and the American Cemetery.

Amazing Tour - Don't miss it! - This tour was amazing. We went to Utah and Omaha beaches, the cemetery - everywhere the tour said it would take us. We had ample time to explore on our own in each place we visited. Chloe was our tour guide. She was not only very knowledgeable, but an excellent driver. When she explained what took place on the beaches, your imagination took over. The tour is capped at 8 people which was great! I highly recommend taking this tour with HQ Company.

Wonderful Tour - The tour of DDay is a worthwhile and meaningful way to appreciate and understand the significance of that moment in history. We had ample time to visit each site and Sofie, our tour guide, brought life to what actually happened in Normandy. She highlights the sacrifices, successes and failures of DDay. And her illustrative notebook of maps and other relevant documents provided a visual perspective of what occurred. The Normandy cemetery is a must see for all - it’s a beautiful, solemn and respectful commemoration of the thousands of young men that gave their lives so others might live. I am a retired Navy CAPT in the Nurse Corps of 28 years so I was pleasantly surprised to visit the medieval church of L'église Saint-Côme-et-Saint-Damien and learn about two medics of the 101st Airborne, Bob Wright and Kenneth Moore that cared for the allied forces, German soldiers and civilians. It was quite moving. Side note to Sofie - thank you for dropping us off at the Tapestry Museum, we were the last ones allowed in at 1745! And thank you for recommending the German Bunker at the Caen Museum - it was awesome. Afterwards we stopped at Pegasus Bridge, La chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and St Catherine’s Church. Honfleur is a gorgeous village - we discovered a fabulous restaurant, Le Lingot (if you are a foodie you must go). The menu consists of 3 or 5 servings and changes every day. Best meal we had in Normandy. Michelin quality. The waiter and chef are accommodating and attentive. Quaint place.
