Informed D Day Tour - We booked well in advance after reading reviews. Our guide was Marion. She was so genuine and honest. She made the tour most memorable in spite of the 100% day of rain. We were in a minivan and visited the Airborne Museum, Omaha and Utah Beaches, the American Cemetery and the first town liberated by allied forces. We also made stops along the way. She was very well informed about the invasion and you could tell she wanted to provide us the most information as possible. We stayed at a nearby hotel and drove the car to the meeting place where there was public parking. Free on Sunday. Meeting point was around the corner from restaurants. Tour started at 8:30 am and ended at 6pm. We were a party of 6 and we were all drenched including Marion. She had visual aids to help us better understand the invasion including individual soldier stories. Would recommend the tour especially with Marion. Here English was good and we could understand her

Exceptional experience - Tour guide (Lucas) was tremendous, his preparation and over all knowledge of what occurred during D-Day were invaluable. Hearing him explain his own family's experience during the invasion made the entire experience personal for everyone. As a veteran the final stop, at the cemetery, will make you appreciate even more what those young men gave up so long ago. If you wish to take the day long tour, there is no better tour,

Excellent and Informative - This is a fantastic tour with a small group (eight). Our guide, Alex was well informed and enthusiastic about all the areas visited and he really made the tour. So glad that we opted for a guided tour for the day rather than just visiting on our own. Really worth the money.

Very informative and thorough - Our American D-Day tour was very informative and thorough. Our guide, David was extremely knowledgeable, however it was difficult to understand him at times and he could have used a microphone on the shuttle to be heard in the rear of the car. The weather was awful (sheets of rain coming down), so we had our windshield wipers going and the defrost fan going as well….which did not help! Otherwise, it was a great tour and you could see that David knows the subject well!
