Excellent day tour of Utah, Omaha beaches and related areas - An full day tour from Bayeux made exceptional by our friendly guide Julie. She explained the allied objectives and the problems they had to overcome were visible first hand. Our first stop was the church at Sainte- Mere- Eglise and she offered a few new explanations regarding the parachute landings there in the opening hours of the landings. The museum at Utah was very good and we spent a good time on both Utah and Omaha beaches with Julie explaining in detail the problems the allies faced. The defences and topography of Pointe du Hoc were amazing with so much battle evidence still visible. The tour finished with a stop at the Normandy American Cemetary, a fitting end to one of the most memorable days we have experienced... much of which can be attributed to Julie's knowledge and enthusiasm...

Must Do from Bayeaux - Eric was an excellent tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable, and you can see his passion for WW2. It was a jam packed tour and one of the highlights of our trip. We only had 5 on our tour, so it felt like a private tour. The van is comfortable, and the stop for lunch was very good. I liked not having the food price included. This is an absolute must do in your lifetime. These men sacrificed so much for freedom. I’m so glad we did this tour from Bayeaux. It gave us extra time at each location.

Highly recommend this great tour! - We had the best day! The tour that Alec gave was so informative and very interesting. The visit to the beaches, The Utah Beach Museum, and the stops in between were fantastic! The American Cemetery in Omaha Beach is so moving and breathtaking. Be sure to be there for taps. What a beautiful and emotionally great site that pays tribute to those who gave all. Alec’s recall for numbers and interesting facts is remarkable. He, an Englishman transport who lives in France knows more about the USA, Great Britain and France together than anyone - especially ourselves!

Igor was awesome ! - Igor was obviously well-informed and the best guide is one who cares about the subject matter, which surely was the case for this tour with him. Perfect length of time and small group was great. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly. Solid value !

Moving and informative D Day experience - An excellent tour with an excellent guide. Impossible to choose highlights as each part made the day what it was. Eric was superb, incredibly knowledgable and informative but also down to earth and humorous. He also managed to keep our 11 year old son completely engaged throughout the day which was wonderful. Cannot recommend the tour highly enough and if you have the time while in Normandy or can make the journey from Paris you won’t regret it.

A meaningful experience - I have wanted to see the Normandy beaches for quite a while . Finally had the opportunity in December. The weather didn’t really cooperate, but we were ready for it. The stories of Eric , our guide, were still compelling and he clearly knows his stuff. We were a small group of 8 in the van and as expected at that time of year, it was pretty empty. We really got a good sense of what the fighting had look3d like.
I’ve taken off one star because I felt very rushed at our last stop, the US cemetery. It was closing at 5, we got there about 4:30 and they wouldn’t even let us walk all the way down because it closes at 5 on the nose.
Nor did we have time for the Visitor Center there, which I had read was fabulous. Sadly, this was because we spent about 45 min listening to Eric while standing outside the first stop at the church. While interesting, that stop could easily have been 15-20 minutes which would’ve left us more time at the end. I felt as if our timing was off all day.
