Must do! - We did the half day tour out of Bayeux. Marion, our guide, met us on time and was so knowledgeable and great in answering our questions. She planned the tour perfectly such that we would see the lowering of the flags at the cemetery. This is a must do tour if you’re an American and want to learn more about that fateful piece of world history and pay tribute to the young men who gave their lives in this area.

Highlight of our trip to France! - Such an incredible tour!! Marion was an amazing guide!! She spent the full nine hours sharing incredible detail of DDay. So knowledgeable of all operations on that day, sorted fact from fiction and left us all in awe of the heroic efforts by the Allied forces on that day!! A must do in France!!

A Must-Do Experience! - This is a must-do experience! Julie, our tour guide, was just outstanding!! It was a terrific day touring the D-Day areas of Normandy! Such great history, and Julie was there to break it all down for us! Cannot say enough about this experience! Thank you!

A lifetime memory! - An amazing day. James, our tour guide, was excellent. Knowledgeable, personable, a skillful driver! He tailored the tour to focus on things we wanted to see but also showed us things that were new to us. His passion for the history and significance of DDay energized the 5 members of the group. Highly recommend this tour!

10/10 would recommend! - We thoroughly enjoyed our D-day tour. Our tour guide, Eliza, was the absolute best. She was knowledgeable and passionate about the history. She timed it just right for us to end the day with Taps at the American Cemetery which was a nice touch.

Finale at American Cemetery - It’s a long day, but worth it. We went to the end of day ceremony- lowering the flag and playing of Taps. Very impactful and beautiful.

We really enjoyed the... - We really enjoyed the tour for the stops history, time on our own to explore at Utah, and had lunch in a small to-go Cafe in Saint Mere Eglise. Hearing taps played as the flags were lowered at the cemetery was a meaningful experience.

Amazing D-Day Tour Experience - This was an incredible experience, and if you have the opportunity to have Lucas as your guide, you are very lucky. He is from that area of Normandy and his family has personal ties to the D-Day history, so he is very passionate about sharing those stories, which makes the day even more special. We got to see Utah Beach (as well as the Utah Beach museum, which is extraordinary), Saint Mere-Eglise, Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and ended the day at the American cemetery in Normandy. It was a long day but Lucas kept the energy up and kept things moving and interesting the entire day. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Half day Omaha beach tour - Our half day tour began at 1:00 pm from Bayeux. We met our guide in front of the Churchill Hotel. He was very friendly and his English was very good. He explained where we were going to go and approximately how much time we would spend at each stop. He was very knowledgeable.... in spite of being on the job for just two weeks!
He shared stories of some of the soldiers who died on the beaches that tugged at our hearts.
We hope to go back someday and spend two or three days in Normandy. This was certainly the highlight of our trip to France.

This was an amazing and as in depth tour as time could allow. Do not miss this! Our guide Arthur had personally read all aspects - This was THE BEST TOUR for Normandy WWII D Day invasion information. There is so much more here than we learn in history books. Seeing the craters of the war ship bombardment of gun installations, the sea wall by which they took cover, really amazing to see.
