BOOK WITH BOY TODAY! - As the youngest member of our group, which ranges in age from 54 to 74, I can confidently say we had a remarkable tour with Boy. He made the entire experience come alive with his storytelling and unique perspective. His flexibility and friendly demeanor made it feel like we were spending the day with an old friend. While Boy has a deep knowledge of the history, he shares it in a way that doesn’t overwhelm you with statistics, but instead paints a vivid picture of D-Day and the operations that followed, along with individual stories of soldiers and units. I’ll admit I was initially uncertain about having a guide who wasn’t originally from the Normandy area, but Boy exceeded all expectations. His passion for the history, coupled with his humility and kindness, made it an unforgettable experience. As a bonus, he has a personal connection to the area through his girlfriend, who is a true Normandy local. Our 5-hour tour included stops at Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery, with a few bonus roadside stops along the way. One of my favorite moments was down a side road into a farm field, where we explored two old German bunkers. Boy’s pacing was perfect—we focused on fewer locations but took the time to truly absorb each one instead of rushing through. It was surreal to imagine the soldiers who once navigated this land, facing unimaginable dangers. The emotional weight of the experience really hit me later in the day as I reflected on everything we had seen. I would absolutely love to return, as there is far more to see than can be covered in one day. Thank you to Boy for his dedication to honoring the veterans, the people of Normandy, and all those who visit.

Great Full Day of Touring with Excellent Guide - This was a long day, but we covered a lot of history. Boy knows his history and has a real reverence for veterans. He was able to show us a few off the beaten track sights and he had a wealth of knowledge of the area. His van is very comfortable and there is not a lot of driving in between stops which is nice. He was also able to add an extra stop we requested to see which was a nice touch. We highly recommend spending the day with Boy on this tour. You will learn a lot and see a lot.

Passionate, moving and unforgettable. - Our host, Boy Eysbroek, is a passionate story teller of all the amazing events of courage, dedication and sometimes luck that happened here 80 years ago. He is a member of The Greatest Generation Foundation that does so much to honor these heroes and includes a renovated house used by veterans when they come to visit. It was a former German command post and still has the original stairs and paintings on some walls done by the German soldiers. The rest of the house is completely renovated for the veterans. Boy’s guidance throughout the area is rich with stories and information we would have never discovered any other way. It was an experience my wife and I will cherish and never forget. If you come to visit, Boy Eysbroek is the man you want to make your day as moving and unforgettable as he did for us.

An excellent tour provided by a knowledgeable guide - Our tour with Neptune Battle Tours was excellent! Much of this is due to the owner and our guide Boy Eysbroek. His knowledge about D-Day preparations, executions and impact was phenomenal. I felt he adjusted the tour based on our questions and discussions. The four of us on the tour highly recommend Neptune Battle Tours and Boy Eysbroek. Thank you Boy!

Hands Down Best Tour!!! - This is hands down the best tour I have ever been on! Our guide, Boy, has extensive knowledge about the area and about WWII. He lives in the area and has spent years researching and meeting with the veterans. He shares their personal stories and other stories that are not well known. He is like a walking history book. Even when we were driving to each location, he could tell us the history of the places we passed. For example, he showed us places where US soldiers were first buried prior to the creation of the American Cemetery Memorial, the fields that were flooded by the German army, and a German grave site. Boy also took us to a special place that most people don’t get to go. I went on the tour with my husband, our parents and 2 kids (ages 9 and 11). Boy made the tour fun and interesting and was very patient with the kids. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are in the area. I guarantee you will see and learn things you didn’t learn in history class. Boy, thank you for an amazing day!!
