Eric was great! My 10... - Eric was great! My 10 year old daughter loved it. I wish we had a second day to visit the Canadian and British landing beaches.

Alex rocks (and exceeds all expectations)! - Our family's (me and my adult children) tour with Alex was the highlight of our two week trip to England and France. We booked the visit to Normandy to visit the grave of our first cousin (once, twice removed) who is buried there. I let Alex know in advance our cousin's name and expected him to let the cemetery know we were coming. He went above and beyond. He researched our cousin's service record and let us know that he did not actually die while parachuting out of a plane but that his plane, which was carrying munitions as well as paratroopers, was shot down over Magneville, a French village many miles away from its target. He took us to that site where we learned that there is a monument to the men who died in that crash. All the names of the soldiers are listed; it was so moving to see our cousin's name listed and visit this site in (literally) the middle of nowhere where he was first buried. Alex also offered to stop at a German cemetery, as it was on the way to Normandy, and the contrast between that and the American cemetery was stark. Alex has a wealth of knowledge about D-day and the WWII in general that he clearly enjoys sharing. He has a quick wit and we developed a fun rapport with him during our tour. Other family members of mine have hired guides and made the pilgrimage to Normandy to visit our cousin's grave but no other tour guide took the time to do the research and none of my other family members were able to visit the monument in Magneville because we did not know it was there. I highly recommend Alex fora personalized tour. Thank you Alex!

Always on My Bucket List - Our guide Thomas is both a Historian and Archaeologist. Having grown up in the region, he has the perfect background for a tour guide. He enthusiasticly shares his knowledge of the D Day invasion with both a historical perspective as well as with anecdotes he has gathered from returning veterans. His day tour of the American beaches includes all of the key locations. And, if you want to visit a specific site, he will take you there as well.

Amazing Emotional Day! - We had an amazing day! Our tour guide Amandine was so knowledgeable and had so much passion for the history of D-Day. She had many interesting facts. My father landed on the Omaha beaches on the second day of the invasion. She made sure we went to Omaha beach! Very emotional to retrace the steps of my father. We also went to the American Cemetery. Amandine told us exactly where to stand during the end of the day taps ceremony. We had other folks on our tour and it was so fun chatting with them during lunch and throughout the day, great group!

Bring D-Day Alive - We were privileged to have Matt as our guide for two full days touring the American landings in Normandy. He has an in-depth knowledge that separates the facts from the Hollywood fiction. You can tell this is very personal for him since his grandfather landed here as part of the British forces. It isn’t just the historical facts that make this tour exceptional, it is the personal stories he shares. He goes above and beyond. His work to find the remains of a GI buried in a mass grave with Germans and return them to the soldier’s family so he could be interred in the American Cemetery was phenomenal. We will be back to tour the British and Canadian landings and Matt will be our guide!

Fabulous tour with Lucas. - Excellent trip Lucas ran in a knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating way. His English was perfect. He took time to gauge what we were interested in and when we said, the individuals stories bring the history alive, he creatively tailored the trip to small sites he said he often didn’t go to but this led to a fascinating trip. He did the headline sites too. Unhurried, keen to answer detailed history questions, we had an age range of 72 to 22 and all loved the day. I would strongly recommend this tour and if fortunate enough, Lucas as the guide.

A very personal Normandy trip - My entire life I have wanted to come study in the footsteps that my Grandfather took in Normandy. I was extremely close to him and this was a very personal experience. No ordinary guide would do. I have a B.A. in Military history which set the standards high. To make things even more difficult, I needed to see where the 90th Division fought which is not as nearly publicized as other units. When we arrived in Normandy Matt had requested a brief ice breaker in the evening before we got together the next day. Matt arrived and immediately pulled out a photo of my Granddad and said “Is this Seth?”. I couldn’t believe it! It was a photo even I had never seen. He had spent much time studying and preparing for us. I immediately knew we had the right man! Matt took us to the main attractions as expected yet went above and beyond taking us to all the off the beaten path locations making my personal trip more than I could have ever asked for!
