Worth it - This tour with Igor was fantastic. He picked us up on time from the Bayeux train station and took us through the Bayeux Tapestry Museum, Falaise, and Caen. We learned a great deal and will use his services again the next time we are in Normandy.

Dynamic History of Normandy - If you enjoy history and learning about cultural roots, this tour is for you! We started in Bayeux with the Tapestry and were enthralled from then on with the history and exploits of William the Conqueror and his family. The tour ended in Caen at William the Conqueror’s burial site, so we literally had a cradle to the grave experience with a traverse through the Norman countryside stopping at key sites and being steeped in his extraordinary life and coming away with an understanding of his amazing impact and contributions to western civilization.

My guide could not have been a... -
My guide could not have been a better fit for my visit. I was researching events surrounding William the Conqueror's invasion of England in 1066 and my guide personalized my private tour perfectly. His historic expertise and professionalism were outstanding. This was in addition to his personable, friendly style, courtesy, and fluency in English as well as several other languages. He personalized my tour when I asked him to substitute Caen for Rouen, but he also was able to add a couple stops to our itinerary that helped me understand the scope of the war preparation William made for his conquest. Despite his medieval knowledge, he said that many of his tours center on the WWII Normandy invasion I'm sure he is equally adept on those tours. I recommend him with highest praise and gratitude for packing in a wealth of historical understanding, being great company, and completely understanding what my goals were. Top rate experience!
