Negombo - Galle
Galle - After breakfast, you will head out before midday to Sigiriya. Upon arrival in Galle, you will check into the hotel and relax before visiting Galle city for sightseeing.
Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone seawalls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch, and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip. Built by the Dutch beginning in 1663, Galle’s core is the Fort, a walled enclave surrounded on three sides by the ocean. A key part of the Fort’s appeal is that it isn’t just a pretty place. While tourism now dominates the local economy, this unique city remains a working community.

Bentota full day
Bentota - After breakfast, spend the day at leisure by the beautiful beach of Bentota.
A Sri Lankan coastal city famous for its golden beaches, Bentota is situated on the southern coastal tip of the Galle District in the Southern Province. The town is a popular tourist attraction, especially among foreign tourists. The name comes from a mythical story dating back to the time of kings, saying a demon called Bem ruled this river (tota = riverbank). Bentota hosts several world-renowned hotels and is home to the famous Sri Lankan jeweler Aida. Bentota also offers the ancient art of healing called Ayurveda and is known for its production of Toddy, an alcoholic beverage made from coconut nectar. The city’s population is estimated to be between 25,000-50,000.
Hikkaduwa - In the evening, you will walk to another famous beach, Hikkaduwa, with your local guide.
Both foreign and local tourists come to see the famous “coral gardens” of Hikkaduwa. For those who don’t like to get their feet wet, glass-bottom boats are available, while others snorkel to reach the brightly colored corals and marine life.
Bentota - Colombo - Airport
Madu Ganga Biodiversity Area - Today, you will have your final breakfast in Sri Lanka. You will drive to Colombo, stopping at the Madu River for an amazing boat ride.
Madu River is a wetland estuary spreading over 900 hectares, with 770 hectares covered in water and inhabited by 64 islands. The boat ride is a wonderful way to take a closer look at this complex wetland ecosystem, a world heritage site protected by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. It is one of the last wetlands in Sri Lanka to contain a pristine mangrove forest. Journey past massive mangrove forests and glide under the canopy of forest tunnels as they curve playfully towards the watercourse. If it’s later in the evening, watch the fishermen in their canoes lighting lanterns on traps that catch prawns and other shellfish. It’s sure to be a memorable day on the serene waters of the unforgettable Madu River.
Colombo - After completing a magnificent boat ride, you will go on a Colombo city tour.
Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch, and British. That heritage is reflected in its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls. The imposing Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history, borders the sprawling Viharamahadevi Park and its giant Buddha. Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and the largest city in the country, once served as an important seaport for trade between the East and the West. Situated on the west coast, Colombo is a vibrant and busy urban metropolis that boasts all the modern conveniences of today’s world, in addition to some traditions of a bygone era, still alive and waiting to be experienced.
