- Beauly Priory - Beauly Priory, a 13th-century monastery, was built for an order of Valliscaulian monks from Dijon, France. It was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell’s army in the 1600s, with some stones used to build Cromwell’s citadel in Inverness. Featured in the Outlander series, it is where Claire met Maisri the Seer.
- Urquhart Castle - Urquhart Castle, located on a headland extending into Loch Ness, is a historic site contested by warring clans, Scotland, and England. It was deliberately destroyed by the resident family in the 1690s to prevent it from falling into Jacobite hands. The visit here lasts for 1 hour.
- Clava Cairns - Clava Cairns consist of three main cairns over 4,000 years old and a smaller kerb cairn that is 3,000 years old. Believed to be an ancient burial ground, no human remains were found during excavations. Outlander fans cherish this site as it resembles Craig na Dun.
- Culloden Battlefield - The Battle of Culloden, the last hand-fought battle in the UK, occurred on April 16, 1746. It marked the final stand of the Jacobites and forever changed Highland life. The guide will accompany visitors around the battlefield (free to explore and use facilities) and narrate the battle’s story.
- Inverness Castle - Inverness Castle is set to open to visitors in 2025, though no specific date is confirmed. Until then, a walk around Inverness town center, including various sites and a lunch stop, is offered.
- Old High St Stephen’s Church - The Old High/St Stephen’s Church tower predates the Battle of Culloden. It held 170 Jacobite prisoners before their execution against the tower wall, where musket ball marks can still be seen.
