Fabulous Tour and Tasting Experience - An outstanding tour and tasting experience. The cellars are stunning and the history of the place is fascinating as well. And then the wines her were exceptional- complex, fresh, varied and poured with patience and an expert guidance. Warm and friendly as it was informative. Would recommend to everyone visiting Beaune.

Excellent - Visiting Beaune with Australian friends, we enjoyed visiting the cellars of the Champy house. Our guide Daniel, was particularly interesting, with a well-constructed route: a place full of history, a very didactic tasting and clear messages to help understand Burgundy climates.

Superb experience in oenology - Excellent experience with Daniel , we had the chance to enjoy a prestige tasting in private. Visit of the cellars of the Champy house, history of its creation and presentation of the vineyard... and the organization and classification of Burgundy wines. The highlight of the visit was the tasting of 5 wines (2 villages, 2 premier crus and 1 grand cru) We learned a lot during this very pleasant experience with our guide.

This was a wonderful wine tasting and tour of the cellars below - We learned the rich history of Maison Champy and got to taste some beautiful wines while learning about where the grapes are grown and the process they go through. Our guide was lovely - Hortence, I think - she was very pleasant and informative. Highly recommend!

Beautiful building, nice tour, good wine. - What a beautiful building. The hostess was very friendly and passioned about the wines. We were the only one around that time so we got kind of a private tour ;) We were very amazed by the history and the cellars. The wines tasted very nice and we bought 2 bottles of the whites. We recommend visiting 100%!

Room for improvement. - Daniel was a very nice tour guide, the stories about history and the Burgundy region very interesting. The wine tasting was rather disappointing. I had the “prestige” tasting which is 30€ more than the “terroir”. The difference was more or less that I found a Corton Grand Cru in my tasting (list price 170€). The wine was from 2022 so way too young. Daniel told us that the wine would be great in 8 years… so why then open this bottle? Such a pity.

Fun wasted... - Pleasure wasted.... really pity because the place and interest of the visit are worth it. I will not thank Theodore for his cold welcome and lack of empathy; certainly he knows his text very well (delivered at a fast pace), but it is a shame not to show more heart and warmth in the human relationship (in short a little base in customer reception .....). Another disappointment: it is unfortunate not to specify in the site the content of the tastings. It is well noted that 30 eur make the difference for a Prestige tasting with a Grand Cru served.... However, come and discover this Beaunois house to taste a Rully (very good by the way) or a Maconnais in the 5 wines... Also explain that the Pernand village of 2017 will not break a leg to a duck..... On this remark regarding the content of the offer on the website, Theodore was sensitive. Really bad.... This is clearly not the discovery I expected.....
