Getting the right tour guide can make your experience great!! - We arrived at Mont St Michel and didn’t know what to do or where to find our tour guide. Well we didn’t have to worry he actually found us, Honore was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. He was full of knowledge and funny and easy to talk with. By the end of the tour we had made a friend. Great experience highly recommend.

An Amazing Day! - Our guide Bousso (spelling?) was excellent! She has an amazing amount of information on the Mont Saint Michel. She was also very entertaining in her delivery. We highly recommend her for this tour!

A must do - Bousso was a wonderful guide! She took us on back streets and showed us things I never would have seen if not for this tour. I definitely recommend a tour guide when you visit!

Mont St Michel Group Tour - This tour was well worth the cost. Ours was a small group which facilitated great interaction with the tour guide. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The guide took us up the island on a path that avoided the main street which was crowded with tourist. One heads up is that they no longer light up the island at night. This was a disappointment, but I guess understandable. Apparently the lights were negatively impacting on birds that nest on the island.

Not a great operator - Guide was 20 minutes late because she was in a car accident, which is not her fault but the company should have notified us. We kept calling and they are hard to reach. Also, while she was great, we had 2 people who needed the tour in French so she had to translate everything in 2 languages, which took twice as long. As a result we missed out tour of the abbey. Again, the guide was lovely but the operators were not organized

Once again Tripadvisor/ Viator screws us over! - A really great place to see! However once again Trpadvisor/Viator let us down! WE had booked a private 2 person tour with Matilda. But we we got off the boat we didn't see anyone, finally a guy asked us if we were the Williams, he said that we were now a part of a 20 person tour, 10 of which was one family and had to be split (they were not happy. Two other couples that also were independent that was put into the big group with us. No warning, we had comunicated with Matilda the night before and no mention was made! There was no guided tour, and the prepaid tickets had been used already! My wife was upset and didn't even go in the Abbey, I went without having a prepaid ticket. Nothing was as promised, she booked the tour, honestly after last june when no one showed for the trip to cruise ship didn't show up after prepaying and in Turkey when the guided tour of Ephuses and house of mary etc. van never showed up I said I was thru with them, she now agrees. We never got an apoligy then or now and they act like they just want the money and to hell with service or doing what they say! We are done!!!

Paid for nothing. - Excuse me for using the word 'terrible' for this rating, I will explain this. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to travel with my school (for medical reasons), but four of my colleagues did, and they told me that there was nobody at the meeting point, there was no contact and the tour is not executed at all!!! They have been waiting for half an hour, but they have met nobody from Viator. So now I lost €730,- (by creditcard) for nothing. Would you please pay it back soon?
