Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Temple of Heaven (L):

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, the operator will meet you in your hotel lobby. You will head to Tiananmen Square, where you can view The Great Hall of the People (National Congress Hall), often referred to as the “White House” of China. The National Museum is located on the east side. In the center of the square, Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum is situated.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Walk to the Forbidden City and spend a few hours exploring the highlights of this vast imperial palace.

Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan) - Continue to Jingshan Hill, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Forbidden City. If the weather is clear, you can also see the whole Beijing city center from here.

Temple of Heaven - At lunchtime, enjoy a delicious meal at a Dumplings restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, where past emperors worshipped the God of Heaven. It’s fascinating to see many Chinese elders dancing, singing, or practicing Taiji in the square.

Red Theatre Beijing Kung Fu Show - In the evening, savor the renowned Peking Duck Dinner and enjoy the spectacular Red Theater Kung Fu Show or Acrobatic show (if you choose the Deluxe Tour Package Option).

Mutianyu Great Wall - Summer Palace (L):

Mutianyu Great Wall - Today, you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall in the morning. It’s one of the seven wonders of the world. Mutianyu is approximately 80 kilometers from the city center, and it takes about 1.5 hours to drive there. You can take the cable car halfway up and then begin your hike to appreciate the beauty of the Great Wall and its surroundings.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After the hike, lunch will be arranged at a nearby Authentic Chinese food restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Garden - The Summer Palace. There are numerous beautiful pavilions, bridges, corridors, and temples. The famous Kunming Lake is also located here.

Olympic Park - On the way, you will pass by the Olympic Park. The Bird’s Nest and Water Cube are the stadiums from the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

After the tour concludes, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Please note, if the first day falls on a Monday, the two-day programs will be switched, as the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays.
