It was so named for the abundant yellow flowers (in Chinese: Huang Hua) that bloom in midsummer. It is also known as the Great Wall under the Water, because three separate sections of the wall are submerged in the Xishuiyu Reservoir. It is famous for its harmonious mixture of the splendid great wall, beautiful mountains and blue water surrounding. \n\nUpon arrival, start walking along the path in the mountain for about 15 minutes, and you will get on the Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall was renovated based on the original style, steep and hazardous. \n\nNo parapets on neither-side. Follow by the ridge to the top where you can have a bird-eye-view of the reservoir, the awarding spectacular view of the Great Wall in the mountain and lake. The total trek is around 5 to 6 hours, and lunch meal is included in this tour (lunch begins around 2:00pm, and you will be given some free snacks if you are hungry before lunch time). \n\nOvernight stay in the local farmer’s house
