  • Bell and Drum Towers - Pick up from your hotel lobby at your pointed schedule to start the tour from seeing the Drum and Bell Tower, symbols of each ancient capital of China. You wil go up both of the Bell and Drum towers, to see the old Beijing neighborhood similar to that 500 years ago. A drum beating ceremony would also be presented in the Drum Tower, which was used for indicating time to local Beijingers.
  • Yandai Xie Street - Then walk to Yandaixie Street, one of the oldest hutongs in Beijing with many boutique stores and snacks stands. En route, you will pass by some hutongs to see the local people’s life.
  • Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Continue to walk around Houhai area, a famous pub street with a beautiful lake. It is one of the most popular places for local people to walk around during daytime and evening. This part of Beijing used to be the residential area for high ranking officials and now some super wealthy people still prefer to live around here for good Fengshui.
  • Beihai Park (Beihai Gongyuan) - Then go to Beihai Park and embark on a chartered boat to explore the beautiful Imperial Park for one hour. After that, you will also visit some iconic places in Beihai Park. Depending on your preferred departure time, you will be served with imperial lunch or dinner in a fancy restaurant with imperial decoration, to savor the food eaten by Qing Emperors hundreds of years ago.

In this tour, you will first visit highlights around the old part of Beijing, like the Drum and Bell Tower, Yandaixiejie Street, Hutong and Houhai Lake. Then get on a chartered boat to cruise on the North Sea Lake inside Beihai Park for one hour. After that, tour around the park by going up the White Pagoda, seeing one of the three Nine Dragon Screens in China and more. The Imperial Meal, once eaten by Qing emperors will also be served in the oldest imperial park of Beijing.
