After a morning pickup from the hotel, guests will travel comfortably in a private vehicle to Tiananmen Square. They will delve into China’s history by visiting the National Museum of China and the Great Hall of the People. A must-see attraction is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, along with the Forbidden City. A delightful dumpling lunch is provided at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Great Wall of China. To avoid the crowds, the tour will visit a typically less-crowded section of the wall known as Mutianyu. Once at the Great Wall, guests will have the opportunity to hike for about two hours. No need to worry about tired legs—there is an option to take a cable car halfway up to start the walk. For the descent, guests can choose the cable car again or opt for the more adventurous toboggan ride. The day concludes with a return to the hotel.
