- Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Then you will spend a couple of hours wandering around the magnificent Forbidden City which is an amazing example of Imperial architecture, and you will learn about the history and stories of the palace. Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911AD).
There is another option: just purchase the entrance ticket to Forbidden City. You can use your passport to enter.
- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After lunch, head to Summer Palace and visit the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China. It greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’. You will get a chance to take a boat ride at the Summer Palace (opens from 1st April to 30th Oct.) to enjoy the Kunming lake and also get off at the south-facing island and leave from another exit.
There is another option: purchase the entrance ticket to Summer Palace. We will send you the QR code in advance, you can scan to enter freely.

Amazing tour with Justin - This tour was the highlight of our time in Beijing, and having Justin as our guide made it unforgettable. His deep knowledge and engaging storytelling brought each site to life, from the historical significance of Tiananmen Square to the fascinating details of the Forbidden City. At the Summer Palace, he guided us through its beauty while ensuring we captured the best photos.
Justin’s warm personality, excellent English, and passion for sharing Chinese history made the day seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour—especially with Justin as your guide!

Excellent tour and experience - The tour was splendid. Lisa our tour from Catherine Lu's tour is a passionate woman in her field. She told us the history of all the places that we went. And we had a splendid halal lunch as requested.

Great tour and extremely knowledgeable guide - The tour was very comprehensive, my father and I enjoyed Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City most while the summer palace was also beautiful. Adam is an extremely knowledgeable tour guide!

Highly recommend. - We had a great experience with our tour guide, May, during our visit to Beijing. She took us to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace, providing plenty of interesting information along the way. May was thoughtful and made sure everything ran smoothly, which made the day really enjoyable.
The itinerary was well-organized, and we had a nice lunch at a local restaurant that added to the experience. The car was clean and comfortable, and the driver was punctual and professional, which made getting around easy and stress-free.
Overall, it was a well-planned day, and May’s friendly and knowledgeable approach made it even better. We’d definitely recommend her to others visiting Beijing!

Tours in Beijing/Beijing - Excellent. We hired the agency and were very well served.
1 – transfer from the airport to the Intercontinental hotel. The driver was waiting for us with a sign containing our ID. Wide car.
2 – we made a package with 03 tours on the same day. The guide Silvia went to pick us up at the hotel (combined time) along with the driver. The guide was very friendly and spoke Spanish. Lunch was included in the package. The food chosen by the guide was very tasty for the western palate.
3 – transfer (go and return) to Great Wall Badaling. The driver LU was very friendly and attentive. Our communication was by the translator (Portuguese/Chinese). He was pretty hard to understand what we were talking about. LU accompanied us in the purchase of tickets / took several photos on the staircase of the wall...all perfect.
I recommend hiring the service of this agency.

Wonderful and educational tour - Came during low peak season and able to enjoy the cool weather and lesser crowds. Pleasant tour as the tour guide Iris was patient and helpful. She definitely knows how to take great pictures and was able to share life in china so that we gain better understanding.

Excellent day visiting the forbidden city and summer palace! - We had a fabulous day. Lisa from Catherine Lu tours was very well organised making the small amount of time here smooth and efficient. Angel was our tour guide... - Angel was our tour guide and she was THE BEST. Excellent English, a strong command of history, and always quick to stand between us and other tourists trying to shove us out of the way. The driver was also great, and he took us around in a nice Buick minivan. Book this tour!!

Reliable, Trusted and high recommended! - We are fortunately to have Lisa as our tour guide and Lu Shang ( driver ) for our day tour.
Lisa is very informative and knowledgeable and make each spot very interesting. She is generous with her sharing of the history of each attraction.
Lu Shang is a careful and attentive driver. His minibus is clean and spacious. He is always there to ensure your comfort and safety during the ride.
