Excellent city insight - Christina our guide picked us up from hotel 7am. Met the rest of our group total of 8 and walked into Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao’s mausoleum and walked down past the museum’s and statue to honour fallen soldiers. Through the gates into the Forbidden City. We walked right through the area with many thousands of other visitors, read the history and was amazed at the size of these attractions. Next went to a silk factory which was very interesting and you can purchase anything there as well as order tailored clothing. Delicious lunch with options for food allergies or religious requirements which was nice. Next the Temple of Heaven only 400 square hectares, then a Pearl factory and onto the Summer Palace. The beautiful sunset setting across the waters and stories and gardens was a lovely end to a very busy day. A lot of walking on this tour so if you struggle I would split up these attractions over a few day. Well worth seeing but hard in summer with the heat, humidity and hundreds of thousands other visitors. I was very impressed with the hard work, information and long hours our guide Christina and driver put into running these tours and back up day after day. Highly recommend as long as you can walk.

A fabulous visit to must see city delights in Beijing! - The trip started with a glitch at my end. I was sent to the wrong pick up point by my hotel in Beijing. When i spoke to Michael he was most supportive. He ensured that I got into a cab inspite of me not knowing the language and also paid for the cab fare. He took us to areas which had less crowd and also explained about a lot of back history of the places we visited which was really good. In between i had missed a turn and he again took help of the locals to locate me and join me to the group. I would recommend a badge of honour to Michael for making this trip phenomenal! thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Great trip seeing Beijing city centre top sights - Had a great day out with Lily our tour guide, who was able to answer all our questions and was extremely informative. Bring good comfortable walking shoes, as you will walk +9km and depending on the weather, my trip was in June, best to bring a hat or an umbrella to protect you from the sun.

a great day tour to learn about Beijing - great day tour, and i guess you know when the lunch is good when everyone has a nap before the next stop. There was a lot of walking but it was easy flat walking and the details we were told about everything was first class and i learnt a lot within the day.

Exceptional Beijing Tour with Michael – A Deep Dive into History and Culture - Our full day tour in Beijing with our tour guide, Michael, was an extraordinary experience. We began at Tiananmen Square, where Michael shared the historical significance of the monuments and enlivened our visit with captivating anecdotes about local life. At the Forbidden City, Michael's detailed commentary on imperial life and ancient engineering techniques provided us with a profound appreciation for this historic site. He crafted a thoughtful highlights tour, explaining his choices and ensuring we experienced the most significant aspects within our time there. The tea tasting and lunch were delightful additions to our itinerary. Michael's extensive knowledge of tea enriched our tasting experience, and the local cuisine was delicious. He shared fascinating stories about life in Beijing, making the meal both enjoyable and informative. The Summer Palace, with its stunning beauty, was another highlight. Michael's insights into Chinese garden design and his guidance on the best route allowed us to make the most of our visit. His explanations of the architectural and historical significance of each site were enlightening. Our visit to the Temple of Heaven was equally impressive. Michael's detailed historical insights, such as the significance of the temple roofs being blue instead of gold, demonstrated his remarkable attention to detail. Throughout the day, Michael was approachable, eager to answer all our questions, and enthusiastic about taking photos for us. His knowledge, passion, and thoughtful planning made our tour an unforgettable journey into Beijing's rich history and culture. Overall, the tour was exceptionally well planned and communicated. The tour group checked in with us prior to the tour to confirm details and the pick-up location. We also had a professional driver who was knowledgeable about the area and punctual. The car rides were smooth, safe, and comfortable. Throughout the tour, Michael sent us recommendations for our time outside of the tour in order to help us make the most of our Beijing trip. This tour was a fantastic way to see the highlights of Beijing, and we would strongly recommend it!

A great tour for people staying a few days in Being - Today I had a private tour with Lily as my guide and it was beyond all expectations. I got to see all the must-see sights: The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven and The Summer Palace - all in one day. Lily was not only my tour guide, answering my questions, but also a good photographer. Besides the program of the tour, Lily took me to watch a tea ceremony, which was super lovely. To anyone considering a guided tour of Beijing, look no further.

Well worth the time - The arranged pick up time was 730am and the tour guide Mary arrived on time and that was good. Throughout our day tour, we were ferried in a small bus which sit 9 of us plus Mary. I must say that Mary was able to explain the history and background of each of the 4 places we visited, she provided very good narrative and related the stories behind each of the historical building and places with much enthusiasm and passion. The admission to most of the places was relatively fast, except for the forbidden city we had to get our own tickets and then the guide reimbursed back the money to us after we toured the place. I guess this was some local arrangement that was made due to the difficulty to get admission tickets in advance to visit this place. Lunch was Chinese food with 9 dishes and rice. Ordinary quality. We also visited a tea house for tea tasting ceremony but no obligation to purchase anything. Also there was a visit to a Traditional Chinese Medicine facility where the group of us was given a foot massage and free consultation with a Chinese physician, again no obligation to purchase anything but some tip for the foot masseurs would be appreciated. The tour ended around 6pm when I was dropped at my hotel front door. Overall a very good tour to recommend if this is your first visit to Beijing.

Nie ten organizator - The fraud is already in the description. You are required to attend at least 2 in-store demonstrations. You lose at least 2 hours. On your own, you have to stand in line and buy a ticket to the Forbidden City. You must pretend that you are alone and not with a group, because you will not be allowed into the attraction. The guide only cares about her own interests. We ran through the forbidden city. The trip, including sledding, lasts 13 hours. We were supposed to be picked up from the hotel at 7.30am and the driver arrived at 6.30am. No one informed us about the change of hours, so we were still sleeping. The positive is a good dinner.
