Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport or Daxing Airport, you will be greeted by your English-speaking guide and driver. Your first stop will be the magnificent Summer Palace, a superb example of ancient Chinese garden artistry that seamlessly integrates man-made landscapes with natural beauty. This visit will be followed by an engaging tea ceremony at a local teahouse.

Mutianyu Great Wall - Afterwards, you will head to your hotel near the Great Wall at Mutianyu, known for its distinctive architectural style, featuring a dense array of watchtowers and strategic passes. The wall is fortified with battlements on both sides. On the southeast side, there are three watchtowers and a main pass platform, a rare feature along the Great Wall. In the northwest, a pass is constructed at an elevation exceeding 1,200 meters.

Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City/Temple of Heaven

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Start your day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Mutianyu, followed by a brief visit to the fascinating Jade Museum. Next, explore Tiananmen Square, one of the world’s largest public squares and the main entrance to Beijing’s imperial city during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Continue your journey to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, renowned as an unparalleled masterpiece of ancient architecture and the largest, most intact complex of ancient buildings in existence. En route to the Temple of Heaven, you will also stop by a silk factory to discover the traditional silk culture.

Temple of Heaven - Conclude your tour with a visit to the remarkable Temple of Heaven, the largest extant ancient ceremonial complex in China, before returning to your hotel.
