- Mutianyu Great Wall - In the morning, your professional English speaking tour guide and driver with private car will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby. Then you will go to the Mutianyu Great Wall first (1.5 hours driving), which is further section in Beijing area and less crowed. This stretch of the Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of the year. It winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain, before turning sharply and dipping downhill.
You’ll have around two hours to explore the Great Wall. It takes around half an hour to hike up on foot, or you can choose to take the cable car or chair lift: it’s also possible to toboggan.
- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After your tasty lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace. It takes a bit over an hour to get there from the Great Wall. The Summer Palace was the royal garden in the past time. There are beautiful many pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and huge lake, and corridors. While the Long Corridor is the longest one in the world which is on the Genuineness World Records. You will also see famous Seventeen Arches Bridge, Qingyan Stone Boat, Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill there.
After the tour. Then drive you back to the hotel.

Summer Palace & Great Wall Tour - Overall great experience. Lucy's insight into the various sites visited was relevant and well presented. Most importantly for my family however was her English. She's incredibly proficient and was able to help us haggle down prices for souvenirs. Would highly recommend for those with limited or no Chinese language experience.

Awesome tour to see the sites - Linda (Ling Ling) and Xu were a great tour guide and driver. Linda was knowledgeable on the history of China and also on the sites we visited in Beijing. Due to a scheduled military parade that closed down the Forbidden City she recommended the Summer Palace which was a good choice. Prior to our arrival to Beijing she sent communication to introduce herself and made sure we were kept informed. She was personable and I highly recommend her as a guide. Xu made sure we were comfortable during the day and a careful driver. Together they made one day in Beijing a day of unforgettable memories.

Best Beijing Tour - This is a great tour to see the main attractions in Beijing in one day. Linda (Ling Ling) was a fantastic tour guide and Xu was awesome as our driver. Due to the military parade we weren’t able to see the Forbidden City however Linda took us to the Summer Palace instead which was great. She is very knowledgeable and gave us the history of all the sites along the way. The Jade Factory, buffet lunch, and Tea Ceremony were nice stops while the highlight of the Great Wall of China was amazing. Linda had all the tickets ready so we were able to get right on the cable car and even the optional toboggan slide down! Definitely would recommend.

Unforgettable experience. - The whole trip was truly wonderful – everything went smoothly and without any problems. Our guide Renny was extremely helpful, always smiling, and full of enthusiasm. She shared not only interesting facts but also fun and inspiring stories about China, which made the day even more special. The lunch on the way back from the Great Wall was tasty and a perfect addition to the trip. The only downside? Those ten hours passed far too quickly!

Very relaxing and enjoyable day tour - Lucy was great guide with perfect English and clear explanation about places we went. We really enjoyed our tour with her and also Mr. Yang. The food was also good. Overall, we highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Day at the Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace - My friends and I had an amazing day visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Our tour guide, Wendy was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I learned a lot from her. Our driver, Mr. Yang was a good driver. Overall, I really recommend this tour especially if it’s your first time visiting Beijing.

Summer Palace & Great Wall - WOW! We had a fantastic day with Lucy on this tour. Loved all the experiences and Lucy had a marvellous knowledge of the history, there was no rush to move on at any stage of the day. A great way to spend the day in Beijing. Thanks also to our driver Mr Sun who was very welcoming and patient as we moved from the Summer Palace to the Great Wall - another fabulous place to visit and learn so much of the Chinese history. 100% recommend this trip.

Book this tour!! - We had a fabulous time with Lucy and Mr Sun. They were kind and caring and professional. Nothing was a problem at all including tailoring our adventure to us which included kids and some limitations on mobility. Lucy was a fantastic storyteller and kept us entertained the entire time. I loved hearing all about the history of the Summer Palace and the Great Wall. Her knowledge was astounding. I would 100% recommend Lucy and Mr Sun. We loved it!
