Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Important: Due to the strict daily visitor limits at the Forbidden City, if tickets are unavailable, the tour will visit Jingshan Park instead.

Starting at 6:45 am from hotels within Beijing’s 2nd ring road, the tour first visits the Forbidden City, located in the heart of Beijing. This site served as the Imperial Palace for the Ming and Qing emperors for the past 700 years and is now known as the Palace Museum. The tour also includes a visit to a fascinating Chinese medicine center and a silk museum to learn about the intriguing silk culture.

Note: Due to ticketing regulations, the Forbidden City has a strict daily visitor limit and only releases tickets 7 days in advance. Therefore, if booking within two days, tickets to the Forbidden City may not be available.

Temple of Heaven - Next, visit the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing dynasty emperors conducted ceremonies to honor the God of Heaven and prayed for good harvests for local farmers.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - The tour continues with a visit to a pearl factory to experience Chinese pearl culture, followed by a visit to the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden since the 15th century, before returning to the hotel.

Ming Tomb and Great Wall Group Tour

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - Departing from hotels within Beijing’s 2nd ring road around 6:40 am, the tour first visits the Ming Tombs, specifically the Ding Tomb, which is the resting place of Emperor Wanli. This tomb is a treasure trove of imperial artifacts, including silk, textiles, pearls, jade, and porcelain. The tour also includes a visit to a Jade gallery to explore the impressive Chinese Jade culture before lunch.

The Great Wall at Badaling - Next, visit the remarkable Jade gallery to experience the impressive Jade culture and the Great Wall of China. The surrounding area is beautifully wooded, with each season offering its own unique charm throughout the year. Finally, enjoy a Chinese tea ceremony at a tea house before returning to the hotel.
