The first destination is Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. Along the renowned Chang’an Street, you will see The Great Hall of the People and The National Museum (formerly known as the Museum of Chinese History and Revolution). Additionally, at the center of the square is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From the Tiananmen Gate, you can walk towards the Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. It contains 9,999.5 rooms and has a history spanning over 600 years. A total of 24 Chinese emperors lived and ruled the country here from the Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty. It’s worthwhile to spend a few hours exploring the highlights of the Forbidden City.
Note: If your travel date is on a Monday (when the Forbidden City is closed), we will visit the Lama Temple as an alternative. Known as the “Mini Forbidden City,” it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in China. - Meridian Gate (Wu Men) - Visit

- Mutianyu Great Wall - During lunchtime, the tour guide will take you to a local restaurant for an authentic meal. In the afternoon, you will visit one of the seven wonders of the world - the Mutianyu Great Wall. The tour guide will lead you to a less crowded section of the Great Wall where you can hike for about 2 hours. The drive from the city to the Great Wall takes approximately 1.5 hours. You will take a cable car halfway up and then begin your hiking adventure. You will also take the cable car on your way back, saving time and energy.
After the day tour, the driver and tour guide will return you to the hotel.

- Passport name, number is required at time of booking for all participants, Please make sure to carry the same valid ID document throughout your trip, otherwise you may be denied entry to the scenic spots.
- Forbidden City tickets require real-name reservation 168 hours (7 days) in advance and often sell out quickly. We highly recommend you book your tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international visitors may need to queue at the entrance to purchase tickets on site.
- Please note that Chinese nationals including visitors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan must book tickets 7 days in advance for the Forbidden City. We cannot accept any bookings made within 7 days of the visit date.
- This experience is weather-dependent. If canceled due to severe weather conditions, you may choose an alternative travel date or tour, or receive a full refund.
- Toboggan at Great Wall is not available for visitors over 60.’ or bad weather. You may take the round-trip cable car ride instead.
- Please book carefully if you have a train, flight or other arrangements in the evening. The tour may be delayed due to various reasons.
- The Forbidden City is closed every Monday. In that case, we will visit Tiananmen Square, Lama Temple and the Great Wall instead.

Best Terracotta Warrior Tour - From the start of my booking Pings tours were so supportive and easy to navigate. On the day of my trip I started in Beijing with hotel pick-up and the driver escorted me to the security checkpoint and explained what to do on my return. On my arrival in Xi’an the service was next level. Becky my guide and driver were outstanding. We spent hours discussing every detail, her knowledge and passion for her history and culture was excellent. Becky took me to an authentic restaurant to try noodles only found in Xi’an which were delicious. I cannot recommend this tour and company enough.

Lucy is a very professional tour guide, 10 stars for her - We are so lucky to have Lucy ad our tour guide to the Forbidden City and Great Wall of China, Lucy is super kind, friendly guide, she speaks very good clear Enlish so everybody in the group can understand her explanation very easily, we will recommend all my friend to book this tour with Lucy if they come to Beijing, thank you for this wonderful experience!

Breathtaking, an absolute must do, once in a lifetime experience with a brilliant guide to help - Our visit to Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China was an absolutely breathtaking experience, offering stunning and amazing views that exceeded all our expectations. The sheer scale of the square and the majestic beauty of the Wall were unforgettable highlights of our trip. A huge part of what made our day so special was our guide, Lucy; she was incredibly kind, deeply knowledgeable about the history of each site, and her English was excellent, making communication effortless. If you're looking for a seamless and insightful tour, we couldn't recommend Lucy and this experience more highly!

DONT THINK TWICE - Lucy was an absolutely incredible tour guide and truly made our experience in Beijing unforgettable. From the very beginning, she gathered our group in such an organized and effortless way that everything felt smooth and stress-free.
Her tour through Tiananmen Square and the Palace Museum was outstanding. You can immediately tell that her love for history is genuine. She brought every detail to life. I especially appreciated her deep knowledge about the concubines and the stories within the Forbidden City, which added so much meaning and context to what we were seeing.
After the tour, she arranged a delicious buffet-style lunch, which was the perfect way to recharge before heading to the Great Wall of China at the Mutianyu section. That experience alone was breathtaking, but Lucy’s guidance made it even more special.
What truly sets Lucy apart is how she makes you feel. As someone from Mexico, being so far from home, she made China feel welcoming, warm, and familiar. That kind of care and connection is rare.
I highly recommend Lucy to anyone visiting Beijing, she is knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Five stars all the way!

A Smooth and Memorable Tour, Thanks to Bobo - We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Bobo. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in managing the entire tour from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable thanks to her excellent coordination.

Guide had perfect English and vey knowledgeable - Lucy, our guide, was very knowledgeable and her English is perfect (keep in mind that most Chinese don’t speak English at all). This tour is a sure thing.
