Located in the Beijing Qianmen Hotel, Liyuan Theatre stands as the most esteemed venue for Beijing Opera performances. The theater showcases the distinctive charm of old Beijing, from its traditional performance stage and Baixian Table (an antique square table seating eight) to its unique facial make-up. With a capacity of 1,000 seats, the theater is equipped with simultaneous translation devices for English and Japanese, and also offers English subtitles for international guests. Be sure to book your tickets in advance to avoid missing out.
