• Cuandixia Village - En route to the village, you’ll be treated to picturesque views of mountains and rural landscapes. Cuandixia Village is home to about 70 traditional courtyard dwellings that ascend a hillside, established over 400 years ago by settlers from Shanxi province. Throughout the Ming and Qing dynasties, the village was situated along a crucial mountain pass to Hebei and Shanxi, serving as a hub for merchants. The villagers would host wayfarers, catering to the needs of traders. As modern transportation infrastructure developed, Cuandixia’s significance waned and it became a relic of the past.
  Lunch at a local family-run eatery will give you a taste of genuine rural cuisine (note that the cost of lunch is not included).
• Beijing - Should you opt to skip lunch, you will be driven back to your hotel, a journey that should take around 2.5 hours, assuming there are no major traffic delays.
