Very good program - Very good experience, the forbidden city is beautiful. We entered through tienanmen square. The queue was large and took us at least 30mins to enter but it was really nice. I think you can spend one day in the forbidden city. Prepare with food and drinks as there arent many coffes or restaurants. You exit at the north side of the city, from where metro stations are a bit far.

Easy access when book tickets in advance - So pleased we booked tickets in advance. Booking process is safe and easy to use. Using your passport as your ticket works well. Staff at attractions are friendly and helpful. Hand your passport to them at the entry point. They scan the passport or enter the passport number. No need to carry paper tickets.

The great Forbidden City - China - The view was stunning and steeped in history. I felt truly privileged to stand before one of the great historical landmarks, a moment that left me in awe!
Find a season where its not crowded to avoid rush. Once snow falls, the palace looks so white and amazing.
Note: Don't wear high heels or uncomfortable shoes because the place is huge and has a lot of walking.

A bit of a struggle but I got in. Overall a good experience. - The experience was good. I struggled to get in because the security didn’t recognise the ticket as a legitimate one. After at least 20 minutes of painful conversation and numerous rejections I think they gave up and I managed to finally pass. It was then easy at the actual entrance when they scanned my passport.
