WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! MY TRIP WAS RUINED! - I apologize if, in any way, this directly affects my tour guide, Claire. The agency must know about my experience because I feel robbed. I paid the amount of $ 487.34 USD, and it was not worth it. My guide, Claire, was supposed to give me the tour of The Great Wall, but it didn't happen that way. She arrived at the hotel for me, and when I got into the car, there was no conversation. I understood that this was due to the language barrier, and this does not bother me so much because English is my second language, and I can sympathize with the people who are learning it. However, this made the tour even more boring and complicated. I had already planned this trip for a while, and the agency had yet to contact me to confirm. It was not until I arrived in China that I had to seek help to contact the agency and speak to the agency/ tour guide in their native language. They said that such a tour was not confirmed, and this made me very nervous since it was less than 24 hours away. In the end, it was solved, and they picked me up. These were the first red flags. We arrived at the Great Wall at approximately 3:00 p.m. but didn't start the tour until 7:00 p.m. According to this, it was because there was a political event in the area. Even so, I sat for hours on a cement block without talking to anyone; my guide did not speak to me. We only saw the horizon for four hours. The time came for us to be given access to The Wall, but my guide did not let me know properly, and we continued waiting now for no reason. This bothered me a lot because I had to ask her again, "What are we still waiting for?" and she replied, "I am waiting for you." Like... girl, what!!! After we had already lost four hours, I was no longer interested in walking to the wall. This time, I decided that we should take the bus or cable cars so we could start the tour as soon as possible. However, my guide told me that if we did that, I would have to pay for her transportation, which I agreed to do even without fully agreeing because it seemed unfair. Afterwards, I don't know what happened, but she told me that she wouldn't climb the wall with me and that I had to do it alone. I told her I was upset, not having a good time, and wanted to return to my hotel. She told me that I had already paid and that it was better if I continued. I agreed and left alone. As a result, I missed details on the wall that perhaps she should have shared with me. I didn't have anyone to take my photos, but of course, I asked a stranger who put no effort into it. After 40 minutes on the wall, I decided to finish my tour and looked for the exit but got lost. I ended up at the police station on the wall, and a police officer called my tour guide to pick me up at the station. Basically I paid almost $500 dollars for transportation, because I didn't have a tour guide. In that case, I should've paid for a taxi, and it would have been cheaper. I am going to request a partial refund. I do not recommend this agency, which does not pay attention to their tour requests, but they do take your money. They do not have well-prepared tour guides, nor they're willing to put in the effort. Thank you.
