Great Wall - The driver was very pleasant and was punctual. Always available to explain and help us, the English wasn't perfect but we understood.

Perfect service on an unforgettable day! - I had the pleasure to have Edward as guide on my side, lifting and introducing me to the Great Wall in Mutianyu during a 9h layover at the Capital airport . Edward shared a lot of historic background around the Great Wall, which was great to learn before going up and witnessing this impressive one of the seven world wonders with my own eyes and feet. I have been there on December 15th in winter time, the landscape was partially covered in snow and the advantage was, that early morning it was almost empty, no queuing, great for photography. A day I will surely never forget, also because of the effortless experience made possible by Edward.

Mutianyu Great Wall No-shopping Private Car Tour - This was a private tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall in December 2019. The driver picked me up from my hotel at 9:30an and drove the 76km to this part of the Great Wall. I was traveling alone primarily for work so I had limited time and this suited me really well.
The driver got me the tickets for entrance, the shuttle bus and the cable car, then walked with me to show me where to go and where to meet him after 3 hours.
Although the driver spoke little English & I spoke no Chinese we got the basics communicated ok and everything went smoothly.
The Great Wall was fantastic, I had very good weather and afterwards I met the driver and he took me back to my hotel for around 4pm.
Altogether a fantastic trip and for me well worth the extra cost compared to a bus tour or “shopping” tour where a trip to a factory or shop can lead to some high pressure sales.
I would thoroughly recommend ChinaTour.Net - the communication was good and the trip was flawless.

A special place and a great guide - The Wall was, of course, a must do for our China visit and it absolutely did not disappoint- made so much easier and more interesting by our guide Sue, who is amazing. We decided to go to Mutianyu as it’s a quieter part of the wall, it was still busy but there were times where you didn’t have anyone around you. Sue turned up with our driver as organised, with a huge amount of knowledge but she was also really great at understanding when to leave us alone. Her English is fantastic and she just has a lovely warm personality- I can’t recommend her enough, she couldn’t have been any better. (She was especially lovely as it was my birthday and she surprised me with a birthday drink after an extra little hike I did).

The wall is great - and so is Sue! - We had the most amazing day visiting the Great Wall - something we'd always wanted to do. But what made it so special was our guide, Sue. She told us lots of facts and history on the drive there (her English is brilliant), she got us to the quiet part of the wall and made the whole trip so easy and fun. Thank you Sue for a GREAT day at the Great Wall!

Excellent tour and fantastic guide - Very satisfying tour to the Great Wall of Mutianyu. Edward, our guide, proved to be extremely knowledgeable and competent, he accompanied us throughout the tour giving us complete and exhaustive explanations and resolving for us all the issues regarding tickets and access to the activities we had planned. Excellent knowledge and command of English ... we were really very happy with the day spent visiting the Great Wall.

Perfect time, great experience - We had a very convenient trip from our Beijing hotel to the Great Wall with our tour guide, Roma, who had very good English, drove us by a nice car, organized everything for us, gave us a great lecture of the history of the Wall and also smart tips for the discovery of it. We had enough time to walk on our own on the Wall.The program included a very statisfying lunch also.

Amazing trip to The Great Wall with an amazing tour guide - It was our 1st time visiting Beijing with me and my wife. We booked the tour online in advanced. It was a private tour, our tour guide Serena, picked us up from our hotel and took us to The forbidden city, then to The Great Wall.
It was really amazing, we were able to take such amazing pictures, thanks so much to Serena who helped us take many memorable photos. She also suggested which places to get the best shots, and how to pose. We would highly recommend all friends who need an English speaking guide to ask for Serena. She speaks very good English and has a very friendly, and positive personality. The entire tour was arranged smoothly by her.
This was a full private tour with serena, and a driver. NO shopping tour, and easily booked online, and our guide Selena contacted our hotel as soon as we checked in to arrange everything.
It was such a memorable trip!

Exceptional MUTIANYU GREAT WALL visit, highly recommended! - Wonderful visit to an unique, well preserved, highly scenic and not crowded area of the Great Wall. Easy optional / recommended ascent with chairlift and fun slide down if weather is not wet.
Our guide Ana was PERFECT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VISIT AND GUIDE AAAAA+++++!.

The scariest experience of our lives. - I would give zero for sure. Our guide was a scammer. This was supposed to be No-shopping Private CAR TOUR. He was driving us to places we did not ask, he tried really hard to take us to his preferred shopping places and we kept telling him we want to go to the great wall only. He kept telling me how beautiful I am and this felt very uncomfortable. For two women this was very scary, we did not feel safe at all. After tour he sent me money transfer and asked me to click it and send it back. I did not receive anything and considered this another attempt for scam, did not react and blocked him. He called police on me and they came to my hotel room. The scariest moment in my life and I will never go back to China again. To all trvellers, please stay away from this company. When we told him, we booked through ChinaTour.NET, he did not know this company. The car was filthy disgusting and he did not speak one word English. This is all very shady and not safe for women tourists at all ! Please take a bus tour with good company
