It is short, succinct and easy to understand, you can watch the peking opera masters painting facial masks, different facial colors represent different characters. One minute on stage act, ten years off stage practice, a decade of exquisite acting will bring you an unparalleled feeling. At the same time enjoy a variety of court snacks, tea, and experience the true charming of Beijing opera.
On tour day evening, your friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 6:30pm and heading to the theatre. Upon arriving, driver will assist get the tickets for you and meet you at the theatre lobby when the show is finished, then transfer you back to your hotel at the end.

Fab VIP Peking Opera night - An all round good experience. Most memorabile part was the Story of general Ma: Amazing costumes and great fighting scenes. The VIP transfer was enjoyable, the guide friendly and gave some facts about the wonderful Peking Opera.

Perfect way to experience Beijing opera - We love opera and were keen to experience the Chinese version. This was a great way to do so. Perfect show to give an impression of Beijing opera, with nice tea and snacks as well. Cathy was super helpful and friendly, while the pick-up/transfer service was ideal. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent evening opera show !!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - I truly recommend this fantastic show: amazing costumes and engaging stories from 3 famous operas. The guide Cathy is lovely, enthusiastic and informative. I enjoyed the VIP transfer with a nice big van and eccellent driver. We had the traditional tea and Chinese treats at a table close to the stage. A great evening!

Beijing Opera - We really enjoyed the Beijing opera. It has three different acts with different stories. The show was amazing. Well worth a visit. We were met by Cathy at our hotel lobby and taken by private car to the opera. While on route, she explained the different acts. When we arrived she made sure we were seated at the front.
Cathy is a very friendly and experienced tour guide and will ensure you will get the best out of your Beijing visit. I would recommend her

Beijing Opera 2024 - We really enjoyed the Beijing opera. It has three different acts with different stories. Well worth a visit. Cathy is a very friendly and experienced tour guide and will ensure you will get the best out of your Beijing visit. I would recommend her 110%.

Great VIP tour to the theatre with a great guide and perfect seats - We were picked up from our hotel and transported directly to the theatre with our guide, who explained a lot of background history of the theatre and Beijing in the way. It was very hassle free.
Upon arrival our guide got our tickets and escorted us to the best seats, where we got a private table with tea and snacks in the front row.
The theatre was very beautiful with different stories concentrated into a 1 hour show, with a lot of traditional costumes, stories and songs.
Afterwards our guide went to our table, escorted us out, to the car and all the way back to the hotel.
Highly recommended if you want a hassle free and no stress experience with the classic opera

Wonderful show with the best guide! - Such a special evening! Our fantastic guide Cathy picked us up at our hotel with the driver and we had such an interesting guiding during the drive before we
entered the opera. We are fond of european opera and found it so interesting and spectactular to experience this performance! So much worth it! We also got the very best seats including fantastic tea and snacks! We recommend Cathy and her company, She is simply the best! We will be back!

Highly enjoyable alternative - Unfortunately the opera event was not available. Cathy from the tour agency recommended an acrobatic show instead, which was amazing! Well worth seeing. The driver picked me up easily and came into the theatre foyer with me to check that I knew where my seat was. The driver also waited for me in the foyer after the event. Very smooth, no problems.
