It is 3km from the 1st Watch Tower on the east side to the 20th Watch Tower on the west side. The existing cable car leads to 14th Watch Tower and the Toboggan to the 6th Watch Tower. Outside the the 20th Watch Tower on the west side is the wild Great Wall, which is known as the Jiankou section. Compared with other sections of the Great Wall in Beijing, the Mutianyu Great Wall is not crowded, with dense trees and smooth roads, making it the first choice for family members to travel together.
