Awesome Tour - Great Photos during a Quiet Great Wall and Lots of History to Learn from our Tour Guide - The tour to Mutianyu and Summer Palace has been such a great time, and definitely made our long layover in Beijing a great sightseeing and quite an educational experience on the places we've visited.
The private tour was quite seamless, with the pickup from the airport being on-time, and our driver doing a fantastic job with a smooth drive throughout the trip and ensuring that we get back to the airport on-time for our outbound flight by the end of the tour. The overall tour didn't feel rushed, and time was managed quite well at both the Great Wall and Summer Palace, although of course, more time can definitely be devoted to these locations if you are in Beijing for > 12 hours, especially given the vast size of the Summer Palace.
Our tour guide, Herbie, has such a phenomenal amount of energy that can give you a boost even if you just came out from a red-eye flight. His fluency in English is superb and combined with his enthusiasm just makes the tour so much more enjoyable than doing a normal group tour that you may find elsewhere. He covered through a good amount of history and answered a lot of our questions with no problems - and you can definitely see his passion in both knowing about the history and sharing that knowledge to his tour group. He's also got a keen eye for taking photos - exactly which spot, and what pose to do, if you ever need a good solo/group photo taken.
Would definitely recommend as an overall package, with the convenience, quality of tour and level of interaction that you get.

100% Recommend!!! - Had an amazing day being shown around by our guide (Herbie), great way to spend our layover!
Herbie was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the history of the Wall and Summer Palace, which made the experience much more meaningful.
Didn't feel rushed at all - very comfortable driving and had lots of time at each location, and Herbie took extra time to get some great photos for us! He even went the extra mile and contacted our transit hotel for us which was a great help.

Fantastic layover tour with Herbie - The second tour with Herbie in Beijing was fantastic again. Seeing the wall was incredibly impressive. To get down from the wall you can use the Mutianyu Great Wall Slide, which is a lot of fun. Seeing the Summer Palace was great and Herbie's information about its history and use was fantastic. With Herbie as your guide you not only have a super guide with incredible knowledge but also a brilliant private photographer who knows the best photo spots. The restaurant he chose for lunch was also incredibly delicious. All in all an incredibly great tour in Beijing.

Herbie’s team! - We did the tour with Herbie and it was very great! In a 14 hour layover we were able to go to the Great Wall, to have some local Chinese food and to visit in the end the Summer Palace. Herbie made it dynamic, giving us time to enjoy and taking the best group pictures :)

Great layover tour with Herbie - The tour was superb. Herbie greeted us with a big smile and we knew from that moment that we are in good hands. He was very informative, kind and a great photographer.
The wall was not crowded, I was very happy about that!
Herbie took us to a great local restaurant (we were the only foreigners) and the food was superb!
The summer palace was nice, tho there the crowd was big and I wished we had more time there to explore it a bit more.
Herbie was superb, he shared a lot of information with us, was ready to answer all of our questions.
I would recommend this tour 100%!

Private visit of the great wall, summer city, viewing the bird nest and local restaurant - The experience of visiting the great wall was amazing!
We came early so there was basically no people and had the wall for ourselves.
The guide Herbie was so kind, very gentle, talkative and just excellent. He provided us so many informations about all places we have been.
After great wall we head straight to the summer palace. There was so many people, but it was great to see it, beautiful buildings, and nice views.
Then Herbie took us to local restaurant, which was so nice! Food was delicious!
Then we go to see the bird nest, where Herbie buy me a gift, beacause it was my birthday! Herbie is such a great guy!
I have only positive words for whole experience.
My and my girlfriend can only recomend to go with this company, especially with Herbie

Unforgettable layover trip with great guide & driver - It was a wonderful tour. Our guide Herbie was perfect. I learned a lot about Chinese history and culture, the time was perfectly planned and he always had good ideas for great photos. Individual requests were taken into account (we wanted to eat a local lunch along the way). It was a great day and worth every penny! Thank you Herbie and also to the driver: very courteous

The best trip with the best guide! - We highly recommend this travel agency, very good contact and clear description of trips and conditions. Additionally, feedback from this travel agency was always very quick.
Special thanks to our guide Herbie with whom we had a trip to the Great Wall of China and the Summer Palace. Herbie was the best quide ever, very nice and energetic, he told us the history of China and of the places which we've visited in a very interesting way. He came up with interesting ideas for great photos and took us to a local restaurant with delicious food. We are 100% satisfied. The driver and the car are with a great standard. If you are planning a trip in this travel agency, try to ask for Herbie, we can't imagine a better guide :)

Great tour, thanks Alice! - Alice has been a very pleasant guide, thanks to her many years of expertise. We really enjoyed the Great Wall tour, as she allowed us to explore the wall and the suggested a very good place to eat Chinese specialties :) she provided us a lot of very interesting details about both the Tienanmen square and the summer palace, we really enjoyed the experience and we recommend her to all future visitors!
