- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant near the wall, embark on a roughly hour-and-a-half drive to visit the Summer Palace, an imperial garden and summer retreat for the royal family. Recognized as the best-preserved imperial garden in China, you’ll learn fascinating stories about the dragon lady.
You will be transported back to your centrally located hotel lobby at the end of the tour.
- Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - This area is the final resting place for 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty, with the Ding Tomb being the best preserved. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the underground tunnel and view the burial artifacts.

A meaningful and fun experience in Beijing - Jenny with Catherine Lu tours is an amazing host and guide.
We had an incredible time both at the Tiananmen square/ forbidden palace and the Great Wall.
Easy to book and flexible for foreign travelers. Jenny and the other tour guides were also easy to get along with and very knowledgeable about the history and the various sites. I’d recommend this tour group to anyone coming from abroad to China and are looking for a meaningful experience.

An amazing tour! - We had an amazing time, May was really an excellent guide, she took really good care of us and accomodated all our requests. Lunch (Beijing cuisine) was really delicious. Special,thanks to our driver Li, always patiently waiting for us with a cold bottle of water!

Mutianyu Great Wall & Summer Palace Private Full Day Tour - More than experiencing the stunning views of historical Great Wall and Summer Palace, my family were thrilled and appreciative to the helpful and friendly companion with our tour guide, Wendy.
With her interactive guide, I felt like walking through history, back to the time. My wife and children made friend with Wendy very quickly and enjoyed their conversation throughout the day. My mother also felt the caring from Wendy. Turned out everyone had a great day.

Highly recommend!! French-speaking guide! - Excellent day with Catherine Lu agency with our very kind French-speaking guide Jasmine and driver visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall (including Toboggan to come down which adults and kids alike loved). After a delicious lunch we visited the Summer Palace. Very well organised and we learnt so much about the sites we visited and Chinese culture in general. Highly recommend!!

Great tour for the Great Wall!! - The place have to visit in Beijing! We got to the Great Wall! We enjoyed it a lot! The tour company booked all the tickets. They choose good location for photos. We took cable cart up and took tobangon down. It was a lot of fun!!
Our our guide Sonia took good care of us. She arrived earlier, prepared water, took photos for us and very knowledgeable for the sites we are going.
The drive was nice and on time!
They made the trip a great experiences and memories. Highly recommend!

Beijing great wall trip - Thanks to Wendy we had a wonderful trip to the great wall. 😊👍 I really enjoyed every details of the tour including tea ceremony as a side experience after checking out the great wall. I would totally visit Beijing again for longer trip and I would contact Wendy again as a tour guide.
