Exceptional guide and memorable day - A wonderful trip and the best guide.
Laura was absolutely amazing and made our day so memorable.
A great VIP way to experience the Great Wall and avoid large crowds with the added thrills of the cable car and toboggan ride down!
Laura our guide was simply the best person we could have ever hope to have with us. Thank you Laura!

Early fun hike with stunning views of the wall, with less people - Beautiful day exploring wall in the daytime with not so many people! Dana our guide suggested we leave very early, arriving as soon as it opens and it was a good idea. We had no lines for cable car and had pictures with few people/ no people in the background. Dana was also very nice and kind guide and had lots of knowledge. The lunch after was also very good, seeing a view of the wall you just finished hiking. Highly recommend !

Mutianyu great wall - We did this tour on July 23, 2024 with Serena during our stay in Beijing. We were two couples of friends with children and it was a very beautiful, unforgettable experience.
Serena was kind and wonderful. She speaks good English and she was an excellent guide. Additionally, she is knowledgeable in Chinese history and culture. She answered all our questions.
Serena and the driver welcome us at the lobby of our hotel at 7am. The car is air conditioned and water is provided. We were comfortable during transport.
We went up the great wall by cable car and we had the pleasure of going down by toboggan, it was a pleasant experience.
After our tour of the great wall, we went to a nearby restaurant with a beautiful view of the wall to rest and enjoy the superb local cuisine.
Serena was so kind and helpful in helping us book one of the best restaurant serving "Pekin Duck" in Beijing and allows us to stop on the side of the road to try and buy at a fruit stand.
We visited Tokyo, Seoul and Beijing this summer but to our great surprise it is in Beijing that we have the best memories of several cultural historical sites. Thanks to Serena, our visit to the Great Wall of China was exceptional and unforgettable.
We will have no hesitation in doing other tours with Serena and her tour operator.

Great experience! - The guide was very friendly and we had a great chat also on the way to the wall. We had dietary restrictions (a person in the group was celiac), the guide helped us with the food and even bought gluten-free soy sauce for her. We absolutely recommend.

Angie was the best tour guide ever!! - Angie texted us the night before asking if we could leave at 0620 due to the Public and Holiday and not wanting to get caught in traffic going to the Wall or coming back. She met us promptly in the hotel lobby the day of the tour. She spoke very good English and told us about sights along the way. The driver, Mr. Lee was quiet but he offered us some of his dumplings since hotel breakfast wasn’t available at the time. The black sedan was clean and comfortable. He also made sure we had water once we arrived at the wall.
Once we arrived, Angie purchased our tickets for the chair lift and the toboggan. The chair lift was sort of scary but not bad. She took pictures for us, told us the best locations to take the pictures and which setting to use on our phone. She let us roam about by ourselves for 2 hours. During that time we were able to hike to tower 16. There were minimal people on the Wall at that time. But by the time we reached Tower 14, it was a bit crowded. So we were thankful that Angie suggested the early start time.
We rode the toboggan down the Wall which as very fun. I just wish we could’ve went faster but there was an older lady in front of us who seemed a bit apprehensive.
After we left the Wall we ate at a restaurant that was so serene and had a great view of the Wall. We let Angie make the food selections and boy were they great! We had Kung Pao chicken, Mongolian beef, green beans, and then a dish with eggs and something else. I hadn’t really eaten since I’d been to China because I couldn’t find any food that I liked or I didn’t know which food to try.
Angie went above and beyond by asking what else had we done since we’d been in China and made suggestions on how to spend the following days as well as places to eat.
I will definitely use Angie again the next time I visit China. She made our trip memorable and remarkable.

Fantastic experience and guide - The guide really made the difference, Angie knew to pick us up early and bring us to the wall before the heat and crowd became unbearable. The lunch afterwords was at a very private restaurant with a spectacular view of the wall and the food was amazing. Although seeing the Great Wall was a great experience in of itself the tour guide made it perfect.

Magical way to visit the walk with kids - Every step of the way was made easy and at our leisure with our guide LiLi which is a must when traveling with kids.
The restaurant was the perfect way to end the trip. Fresh Chinese good in a tranquil setting.
We are very happy with our choice. Great memories for years to come.
Toboggan down was the highlight for our kids.

Spectacular and so easy! - Angie was our guide to the Great Wall. She verified with our hotel the night before and picked us up on time. She had a clean, comfortable, air conditioned van for us to ride in and plenty of bottled water for our trip. She was a great tour guide as we drove out of Beijing, pointing out interesting sights along the way, and answering all our questions. At the wall, Angie took care of all the tickets, and got us onto the wall and took pictures for us and told us about the construction and history of the wall. She then let us explore and hike on our own, and then met us at the appointed time and took us to do a little shopping. After that she had the driver take us to a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view of the wall and the surrounding hills. The food was amazing. Dish after dish came out of delicious food. The dishes just kept coming until I didn't know where they were going to put them all on the table. We all loved the food, even my four and nine year olds. My family (husband, kids, sister and my parents) were all so pleased that we had picked this private tour over a big tour bus tour. Everything was so easy and relaxing, and it was all (except the souvenir shopping) included in the price. Angie was incredible, knowledgeable, and kind. If you choose this tour, you will be very glad you did!

INSIST ON CABLE CAR - We used the cable car to go up and down, They will try to sell you the chair lift - insist on the cable car if you are afraid of heights.

Would have given 5 stars if the tour... -
Would have given 5 stars if the tour had started on time, but they sent one of the best guides who more than made up for the late start. Helen was awesome and we had a nice quick visit to the Wall, and a wonderful lunch overlooking the entire area afterwards. Be prepared for walking and climbing, as the stairs on this section of the wall are very steep in some areas, but the chair lift up and the toboggan ride down were perfect. Would do this one again...
