• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, your tour guide and private driver will meet you in your hotel lobby.

The first destination is Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. Along the renowned Chang’an Street, you will see The Great Hall of the People and The National Museum (formerly known as the Museum of Chinese History and Revolution). Additionally, at the center of the square is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From the Tiananmen Gate, you can walk towards the Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. It contains 9,999.5 rooms and boasts over 600 years of history. A total of 24 Chinese emperors lived and ruled the country here from the Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty. It’s worthwhile to spend a few hours exploring the highlights of the Forbidden City.
• Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - At lunchtime, your tour guide will take you to a local restaurant to enjoy an authentic meal. In the afternoon, you will proceed to the Underground Dingling Palace, part of the 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs complex.
• Dingling Underground Palace - Thirteen Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area. You will visit Dingling and the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only excavated tomb among the Ming Dynasty Tombs.

The Sacred Path will be the final stop before concluding the tour. This path, stretching 800 meters north of the pavilion, is lined with stone pillars and statues. The statues include 12 figures of generals and civil officials and 24 animal figures—lions, camels, elephants, unicorns, and horses. There are four of each animal: two standing and two lying down. These lifelike and exquisite stone statues hold significant cultural and artistic value, forming a museum of Chinese stone carving.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your midtown hotel in Beijing.
