• Longqing Gorge - This scenic spot is renowned for its gorge. Visitors often compare its scenery to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, but the mountains here are much steeper. The landscape also resembles the Li River in Guilin, but the water is much clearer. After descending from the dam, you can enjoy the river and hills by cruise. Each turn around a hill reveals a new view, with heavily forested steep cliffs and bare limestone in various fantastic shapes, eroded by water. Many of these rocks and hills have names, such as Comb Hill, Immortal Taoist Temple, Flowers Cave, and Jingang Temple.
• Guyaju Caves - It takes about 30 minutes to drive from Longqing Gorge to Guyaju Caves, located west of Yanqing County. This is the largest site of an ancient cliff residence community in China, with 117 caves forming a cell-like spectacle on the cliff.
• Beijing - After a full day of exploration, it typically takes 2.5 hours to drive back to your hotel.
