Mutianyu is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than the more famous Badaling. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered by trees and orchards, keeping the air fragrant with chestnut blossoms in the spring and fresh all year long.

Great trip to the Great Wall - We had a wonderful time with our driver Peter. He organized everything perfectly, explained us many things, so we could enjoy our time at the Great Wall. He was very friendly and we were treated very obligingly. He was all the time there for us and we are more than thankful for his time and kindness, so we all would recommend this tour. We hope to see Peter again next time as our guide who will show us more of the wonderful sights in Beijing.

Perfect Mutianyu Trip with David - We had an amazing experience with David as our driver to the Mutianyu Great Wall. From the start, he made everything easy by purchasing our tickets for the cable car and toboggan in advance. David was incredibly accommodating, staying at the wall while we hiked so we could return at any time. Unlike many other tours, he didn’t stop at any shops, which made the trip even more enjoyable. He also joined us at a local restaurant and arranged a personalised tea ceremony experience for us at a local tea spot, all at no extra cost. His car was spotless, stocked with water and snacks, and the drive was smooth. David’s attention to detail and thoughtful service truly made our day unforgettable!

Day trip to great wall - We had an amazing day trip to the Great Wall with Melody our tour guide. She picked us up from our hotel with a driver and took us to the Great Wall. During the drive she gave us a really interesting background and history to the wall so when we arrived, we were well versed. She then navigator us through all the ticket and barriers. . She then took us along the wall and gave us more detail which was really interesting. She also chatted and it was a pleasure to spend the day with her.
After we had finished, she took us to a traditional Chinese restaurant for lunch and helped us order, some really interesting dishes.
I could not recommend this company and especially Melody were highly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Amazing trip to the great Wall - Very good trip ! The driver was very kind and drive well. He helps us to get tickets and was very gentle. I recommand this trip with Mr Guo ! Don’t hesitate to book. This was a wonderful day at the Great Wall and unforgettable. 😄🇨🇳

Great day out on the Mutianyu Great Wall - I booked a private tour, both Lily the tour guide and the driver were at my hotel on time. Lily was awesome, full of knowledge. Took the cable seat car up and the tobaggon down, what a great experience.
Be prepared the wall is quite the workout, those steps can be very steep!
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it!

Great experience - Very comfortable tour with diligent operator. We had a comfortable ride and our tour guide Melody was very knowledgeable and easy going.
We left early morning 7am and avoided the crowds, with ample time to walk 14 gates and be back at the hotel before 2pm.

Epic sight great tour - The tour was fantastic and the guide very helpful and knowledgable both about the wall and the history of China. We left super early from the hotel but were treated to awesome pictures with just our group. We walked up but took the toboggan down which was also loads of fun.

A fun day at the Great Wall - We used this service for a day trip to the Great Wall. The driver, Jack, was right on time and well organized for the tour. He advised us to go early wisely to avoid the crowds. Entry was quick and seem less The car was most comfortable and the trip quite smooth. Highly recommend this service if planning a trip to the Great Wall
