Great experience in Beijing and at the Great Wall - I had an amazing solo weekend-stay with a great guide (James), who gave me the best information about Chinese history and culture in Beijing and at the Great Wall. He was able to answer all of my question and we had a lot of fun together. On our first day we visited Tian’an square, Forbidden City, Jingshan park, summer palace and walked around in the Hutong area. It was a great experience! On the second day, James showed me a more hidden and wildern part of the Great Wall with some hiking on it. It was so amazing and will ever stay in my mind. There were no other tourists or people - very enjoyable. Thank you for having me. Everything was perfectly planned - gladly again.

Amazing tour to unspoiled section of the Great Wall with excellent guide James - We went on a private tour with James. He came to pick us up at home and we drove 2 hours outside of Beijing to an unrestored section of the Great Wall. It exceeded our expectations, it was so beautiful and unspoiled. We went on a Monday and there was literally no one else there. James is a wonderful and considerate guide who provided us with interesting facts and information. He is very friendly, has humor and is nice to talk to. He made a few video's of us hiking and shared the edited versions of those when we were home, very nice！ The hike is quite demanding, it requires a lot of climbing, but you're ON the Wall pretty much the entire time. The surroundings (trees and mountains) are also breathtaking. All in all we walked for 15 km which took about 5 hours (stops and lunch included, make sure to bring enough water and food). We had an amazing day and highly recommend this tour and James as a guide.

My amazing trip to the Great Chinese Wall 🇨🇳 - I booked a private tour with James to discover the beauty of the "Wild Wall" and the experience was truly wonderful. I got picked up on time at the place I was staying in Beijing and we drove about two hours to the wall. James provided a lot of information about the history of the wall and answered all the questions I had. Once we got there we hiked about 8 km to and on the wall. James showed me some spectacular scenic spots and never got tired of me taken a million photos. Also he turned out to be a pretty good photographer himself as he took some fantastic souvenir photo of me. All in all I had a great time and cannot recommend James enough. If you are planning a tour to the Great Chinese Wall make sure to reach out to him and see if he's available.

great tour! - We went to a very secluded place where there were almost no other tourists (around 2,5hours driving there). We walked on the wall for a few hours and enjoyed the unique view.

Great Wall trek - I had a blast with our tour guide James who was informative and friendly. The hike was at a perfect pace and length, capped off by a great lunch afterword. I could not have had a better time.

Unforgettable experience with equally great customer service - Kassy (office contact), James (tour guide), and David (driver) were all extremely attentive and responsive to our every need. Communication by text and email were flawless. James called us at our hotel the evening before our trek, just to make sure. We had a bit of food (water/ice) poisoning the day before, so we were extra needy trekkers, but James and the driver handled it all very well. True professionals! This section of the Great Wall was quite rustic (not renovated), but this gave us the feeling of a true backpacking, wilderness experience. The scenery is very picturesque. Some of the guard towers provided shade, which we appreciated on a hot day. No insects, or other hazards, to speak of. The provided lunch was nearby, and shortly after the trek. The restaurant staff were very nice, and sympathetic to our upset stomachs. They went out of their way to get us exactly what we felt like eating, and we were able to take away a doggie bag. Thanks to all... an unforgettable experience!

What an amazing day! - Our day tour of the Great Wall was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel we were treated great. Our guide, Peter, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spoke perfect english and answered all of our question. Being upon the wall is a surreal experience, which I recommend to anyone who has the opportunity. The section of the wall we were on (Gubeikou) was unrestored and "wild" which made for a great day of hiking. There is a small farming village at the base of the wall where we enjoyed a lunch that was outstanding. This section had virtually no tourist and we felt as if we had the wall all to ourselves. I highly recommend this tour!
