Excellent driving service - Gary (assigned driver) from the local Lily Tours was highly professional yet totally friendly. Took good care of our needs over & above the driving to Mutianyu. Highly recommended.

Great day at the great wall - We had a amazing day, booking the tour was definitely worth it, as on the one hand it takes the hassle out of transportation, which is nice when traveling with kids, and on the other hand Jerry provided us with a lot of information about China and the wall, as well as showing the best places to go, have lunch, take pictures, etc. We decided on taking the cable car instead of the toboggan due to the long queue at the toboggan.

Toboggans are the BEST - Our guide was super knowledgeable and is well known by the staff - which was a big help when we had trouble with one of our tickets. He is also very familiar with the various shopkeepers and will direct you to artisans who are truly unique within China. My young teenage sons were eager to do some shopping and the items purchased here were the best of the trip. We took the chairlift up - which is definitely the way to go so you can reserve energy for hiking the wall itself. It's also an amazing view in all directions, if the weather is clear. The wall itself is so enormous that there really aren't any everyday references to help wrap your head around the magnitude. We got just the right amount of history lesson before striking out on our own for a half day hike. Perhaps we are uninspiring, but once you've hiked two of the towers it feels like more and more of the same again. So we were ready to wrap up and hit the toboggan lines before they got too long. And man was it fun! It's fast and long. You get a really solid ride. I could actually imagine doing the chairlift and toboggan parts twice in the same day, if you have the time. Our guide was informative and entertaining during the drive there and back as well. We had a few things we were interested in investigating while in town and he gave us super recommendations, even dropping us off at a select spot instead of our hotel.

A family trip to the Great Wall - We had a wonderful time being on this trip as a family. It was my son's big wish to see the Great Wall of China. Lucy, our guide, was so lovely and she had a lot of knowledge that she was happy to share. Furthermore, she adjusted the tour to our needs as we were travelling with small children. On our way to the Great Wall and back to the hotel she and the equally friendly driver answered all our questions we had about what we saw from the car windows and about the Great Wall. I especially liked that we stopped at a local fruit stand for a few minutes on our way back to the hotel. We ate the most delicious locally grown peaches.

Great Day - Very professional and experienced tour guide. The view was amazing and our tour guide gave us some insight into chinese history. I would recommend others to go as early as possible, because there can be a lot of people. Even though there were a lot of people at the Great Wall, I would go there again.

Great Trip to the Great Wall - We went during August to the Great Wall. It is not only very hot at this time but also very much visited. So Jerry was so kind to ask us to start earlier so that we don't have to wait a lot. It was definitely the right decision. We learned a lot and had very much fun.

Wonderful, attentive, fun and friendly guide for an incredible experience at the Great Wall! - We had a wonderful time with our wonderful guide Linda -- very friendly, very helpful, very knowledgable, and easy to talk to. She was also very flexible -- offered various options and suggestions, and let us shape the trip as we wanted. She was very good at both being involved and engaged, but also giving us space to experience things as a family. Plus, she took wonderful pictures. It was quite hot in August, but well worth it -- leave as early as you can in the morning, so that you arrive before the crowds and before the heat. In all, an incredible experience.

Great tour of the Great Wall - Lucy is a great guide. She was highly knowledgeable about the history of the wall, and she made sure we saw the best parts once we got there. Lucy made the day go smoothly and we highly recommend her!
