EXCEPTIONAL Great Wall Tour - Exceptional tour with David our tour guide and Mr. Hu our driver. From start to finish it was flawless and easy. We were met at our hotel and it was a 1.5 drive to the wall. David speaks excellent English and provides a comprehensive narrative of the historical significance of the wall. We learned about the dynasties and the relevance of this UNESCO site. We were dropped off right at the front entrance and took a gondola up. At the recommendation of Sunflower, we arrived at 9am and had the wall to ourselves except for a few cats. (If you are a cat lover, please bring kibble to feed these strays.) It was an exhilarating experience to have this site to ourselves! During the walk, David provides us with tidbits of facts regarding the wall. After we downloaded ( please make your preference to take the slide or gondola down when you book.The slide would have been more fun for us!) We were provided a Subway lunch at the base. We arrived back at our hotel around 1:00 pm. You can extend this excursion if you walk more of the wall. Sunflower was always available on Whats App to answer all questions. Rest assure you will be in EXCELLENT hands with her team. Her team is friendly, personable and professional.

It really is one of the 7 wonders of the world! - We went with the Sunflower guide and she told us the entire history of China from imperial times to the present day. The visit was beautiful, it was a perfect day and we took great photos!

Best private tour of the Great Wall and excellent english soeaking guide - If you are looking for a private personalized tour with an English speaking guide, this is the best one. I chose this tour because I have 2 little kids (2yo and 5yo) and this tour did not disappoint. Kris was our tour guide and she was very smart and conversational. She had a lot to share to us and nevee had a dull moment with her. From the very start of the tour she made us feel comfortable. The van we used was in perfect condition. It was so convenient to navigate through the entrances and the transportation system as we needed to ride a bus later on that would take us to the entrance of the Great Wall. Everything was taken cared of by Kris. She also took lots of photos of our family which would otherwise be difficult if it was just us or if we were in a large group. Kris was very patient with us esp with the kids who can be a handful. She gave us enough time to enjoy the Great Wall at our own pace. After the tour, we were supposed to have lunch and head home but she was nice enough to volunteer to take us to a famous food street and cheap shopping area in Beijing. This was not included on the tour that we paid so her offering to navigate the streets of Beijing with us is such a bonus. God bless her heart! We enjoyed some chinese pastries and street food, walking through the narrow streets and she even took us to a beautiful lake. Nothing but 5-star service from her. We took the cab with her going back to the hotel and she made sure we arrived safely. Thank you so much Kris! This tour comes highly recommended! I will definitely book again in the future.

Pandas and Great Wall - We had this tour with Maggie, she was great. We requested to include pandas during the visit and they included panda visit. After that, we headed to the Great Wall. It was quite a walk. Fantastic tour

Amazing Great Wall - One of the best tours we have taken as family. Miss Lina and Tian were amazing. Miss Lina was very knowledgeable. My niece was a foreign student and she communicated fluently with her in both English and Mandarin. It was my niece’s third trip to the Great Wall and she remarked that this was by far the best tour. We loved the authentic Chinese restaurant we went to after the tour. The food was delicious. We were so pleased with Sunflower Tours that we booked them for our return trip to the airport. I would highly recommend this tour.

BOOK IT!!! You DO have time!! - While visiting on business from the US, we unexpectedly had an afternoon to explore. Though people told us we didn't have time, we booked this tour for pickup only 1.5 hours later!! Our guide, Rocky and driver, Yang, were amazing! Rocky's english was very good and he gave us so many details and history of the area, The Wall and China. He allowed us to set the pace, took lots of pictures for us, and was a lot of fun to chat with. Mr Yang was an excellent driver. He was at the bottom of the wall waiting for us and delivered us to the door of every place we ventured. Rocky helped us to do some souvenir shopping as we were leaving the area for dinner. The dinner we had was also very good! Rocky was very good to ask us for our preferences when he ordered and the dishes he chose were all very delicious. I can't imagine having any better experience than what was provided by Rocky and Yang!

Unforgettable Day with Miss Lina at the Great Wall - My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Lina through Sunflower tours, and thanks to her our experience was unforgettable. Miss Lina met us right in the lobby of our hotel and she had all of the transportation and tickets arranged for us, all we had to do was show up. The drive out to the wall took about 60 mins and it was a nice drive through the countryside. The drive home was about 3 times as long due to Sunday traffic. Miss Lina was able to provide us with so much history and information about the wall that we never would have known. She took lots of pictures of us and was extremely patient, we never felt rushed. We probably spend about 2.5-3 hours walking the wall and taking photos. You could take less or more time than that depending on your preference. Our driver was excellent, very patient and calm even in heavy traffic. The car was very comfortable, clean and enjoyable to ride in. We treated Lina to a lunch after at the base of the wall, and thankfully we did because the car ride home took about 3 hours! The Great Wall is incredible and I am so happy we booked a private tour. I would 10/10 recommend Sunflower Tours.

Amazing Great Wall Experience - I hired Sunflower as my tour guide for visiting the Great Wall, and it was definitely worth it. She was a pleasant companion with a lot of interesting facts to share. Good conversations and she knew the best parts to take pictures or simply enjoy the view, as well as avoiding overly crowded bits. I would recommend her tours to anyone visiting China and wanting to experience some local hospitality. As an added bonus, her English is also very good, which is very useful unless you know Chinese :)

Excellent Tour to the Great Wall with Sunflower Li, best hostess ever - We had a great time visiting the Great Wall with Sunflower team. She was very responsive to my e-mails an text, so we could arrange the details very easy. She picked up us from the hotel. Lynn was the tour guide, a very charming and smiling lady. We went in a van to the Great Wall section at MuTianYu. This is a good area because it is less crowded than Badaling. It took 90 minutes to get there. We went to the top of the Wall in cable car, and we had a 2 hours walk along a section of the wall, with amazing views (although it was cloudy and foggy). There is a tobogan to get down, but we could not use it because it was raining. We got back to Beijing and had lunch in an excellent Chinese restaurant chosen by Lynn. She helped us chose the food (it is always hard to understand te menu, even with photos) and everything was delicious. We went after lunch to the Summer Palace, this was the place were the Emperor stayed during Summer (instead than Forbidden City), because it is in the middle of a park with trees, so it was much cooler. They have the long blue corridor with all the paintings in the ceiling, which is beautiful, and a big lake where we took a nice boat trip to the other side. Lynn drooped us off at the hotel at 6 PM, it was a long but rewarding day, and she was excellent.

Highlights of Beijing - Maggie with Sunflower tours helped me see the highlights of Beijing in a day and a half. She was a fantastic, informative guide. I learned a great deal during my short time and felt confident I was able to see more than I would have on my own. I highly recommend this tour company!
