A cable car or toboggan ride is available for an additional CNY 140 per person (round trip, cash only). You can also request a stop at a local Chinese restaurant to enjoy authentic cuisine (additional cost). The driver will help you find a good restaurant and wait for you. Afterward, you’ll be escorted back to your hotel or PEK airport.

Don’t hesitate to take this chance to see Great Wall of China during your stay in Beijing. Even you have a 10 more hours layover between the two flights, this is a good way to stretch your legs and see something outside airport without paid visa required! - The Great Wall opens from 7:30am to 5pm. Therefore, the earliest pick up time is 6am ; the latest pick up time is 13:30.
- As the tour will last around 4-5 hours, plus the time (1.5-2 hours) to get out of airport and the time to catch flight, so the time table is at least 8 hours or longer if you have a layover in Beijing.
- To make the best arrangement of your great wall trip, please advise of your exact arrival and departure flight details
- If you will have to carry luggage, you may have them locked in the car.
- If you are not able to go through customs for any reasons, please take your own responsibility. There is no refund for the same day cancellation.

More than I could have ever imagined - What an amazing tour! We only had 5 hours before our flight and David delivered! He was so friendly and patient. Made sure we got great photos. My only recommendation is do not take this tour if you have walking limitations of any kind. Also I you take the lift be sure to smile as you get closer. They will take a photo you probably want to buy. The view was beautiful. Thank you David for adding another wonderful experience to our list!

Great Wall, Great way to spend a 10 layover with a Great tour company! - With the guidance of the Beijing Impressions Tour company, I arranged for a 10 hour layover in Beijing to visit the Great Wall. Tony,my contact at the company, was very helpful ahead of time with specific instructions on how to speedily navigate the airport and find my tour guide. Although it was a Saturday, Tony was in contact with me to ensure I connected with my tour guide. I highly recommend my tour guide and driver, Jim, who spoke great English and provided great historical as well as general information about the Great Wall and Beijing. Jim accompanied me on the wall and took great pictures as he continued to share insights about the wall. And, back at the airport, Jim helped me with my luggage and got me to my flight check in point. I made it back to the airport with 2 1/2 hours to spare! I can't more highly recommend this tour company and Jim and Tony.

Best decission ever - We had a 14 hour stay in Beijing, for transit to New Zealand. As the inner city seamed kind of unspectacular, we decided to book a trip to the wall. And this was the best decision we could make. In the price included is a private driver, the wall entrance fee and the shuttle bus ticket to the wall, as private cars aren't allowed to drive there directly. Our Driver Shane picked us up right at the exit of the baggage area. He is a really lovely guy, who speaks English perfectly, gives a lot of tips and loves to answer questions about China etc.
Arriving at the wall tourism centre after a 1,5 hour drive, he accompanied us all the way. He even walked all the stairs up to the wall with us, to take some pictures from us. After that he gave us the opportunity, to explore the wall on our own. We stayed on the wall for about 1 5 hours. When we walked down the stairs back to the wall tourism center, we met him again and he drove us back, directly to our departure terminal. This trip was worth any penny, thanks to the hilarious driver Shane. Thanks a lot!

What a Treat! - I truly did not expect to have that great of a time in China. I was initially excited but after a long plane ride, I was very tired from a two week vacation with my partner I was just plain worn out. Our tour guide Michael brought my energy back. He was funny personable and took pictures that my boyfriend and I will treasure for the rest of our lives. He saved the day for us and made the great wall and experience I’ll never forget. We recommend this tour highly. Great experience.

Great option for a long layover - This tour was just what I was looking for: an opportunity to see a great historical wonder in the very short time I had in Beijing. Everything was easy. I booked the tour super last minute but it still went smoothly. Shane was great, and his English was excellent. There wasn't any question I had that he couldn't answer. One thing I would suggest is to remember to take out cash or exchange money at the airport since you will need it for the cable car and food/souvenirs.
