Beijing Capital International Airport - Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, a private driver will greet you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a comfortable ride to your centrally located hotel in Beijing. The driver will assist with your luggage and provide a welcome packet with helpful tips for your upcoming 4-day adventure.

Imperial Beijing – Tiananmen, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At 8:00 AM, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Start your full-day tour at Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. As you walk across this historic site, your guide will share stories about the events that have shaped modern China.

Forbidden City - Enter the Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate, exploring the world’s largest imperial palace complex with 980 surviving buildings. Your guide will lead you through the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Imperial Garden, and hidden courtyards, bringing 600 years of Ming and Qing dynasty history to life.

Temple of Heaven - After enjoying a local lunch, proceed to the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors held annual prayer ceremonies for good harvests. Admire the iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and explore the Echo Wall and Circular Mound Altar as your guide explains the ancient rituals and architectural symbolism.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Conclude your full day at the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. Walk along the Long Corridor with its 14,000 painted scenes, visit the marble Seventeen-Arch Bridge, and take in the views over Kunming Lake before your driver returns you to your hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall & Hutong Food Night Tour

Mutianyu Great Wall - Depart early for the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, known for being one of the best-preserved and least crowded areas. Hike along watchtowers dating back to the 6th century, enjoying stunning mountain views. Optional cable car and toboggan rides are available at your own expense. After visiting the Great Wall, return to Beijing.

Nanluoguxiang - As evening approaches, meet your local foodie guide for a walking tour through Beijing’s charming hutong alleyways. Sample authentic street food such as Peking duck wraps, jianbing crepes, lamb skewers, and local craft beer at hidden neighborhood spots. Your guide will share stories of hutong culture and daily life in old Beijing as you savor this living heritage district.
