• Mutianyu Great Wall - Your driver will pick you up from the airport or a nearby hotel and take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The driver will first guide you to the ticket office for ticket purchase (at your own expense: RMB60 per person for entrance/ RMB140 per person for the cable car option). Afterward, the driver will guide you to the cable car entrance, and you can explore on your own. Once you’re done, meet the driver to be taken back to the airport.

This is an easy way to see Great Wall from airport with reasonable price. You don’t have to take a long line to wait at taxi stand, but you will find your driver with holding your name sign outside baggage claim. Your driver will be very helpful for ticket purchase (at your own cost). We guarante no tourist trap along the trip and you will back at airport on time for the connected flight. All vehicles are clean and comfortable with A/C.

• Mutianyu Great Wall opens from 8am to 5pm, and is 1.5 hours drive from airport to Great Wall(one way), so the earliest pick up time from airport is 6:30am; Since the whole trip last about 5 hours, so the latest pick up time from airport is 13:30. For example, if your arrival flight land at 3am, you need to wait your driver at airport till the earliest pick up time 6:30am, then after the 5 hours trip, you will be dropped off at airport around 11:30am, so your next flight must be later than 14:00 to make sure you have enough time to catch flight; If your arrival flight land at 8am, you will meet driver at around 10am as it normally take about 2 hours to get out of airport.
• Please prepare cash in RMB60 per person for the entrance and RMB120 per person for the cable (option). The ticket office at Great Wall only charge cash in Chinese RMB.
• The place to meet your driver : 1) If you land in Beijing at 5am-12pm : driver will hold your name sign outside baggage claim; 2) If you land in Beijing early than 5am in terminal 3, please wait driver at Maan Coffee shop (outside baggage claim), driver will hold your name sign at 6:30am 3) If you land in Beijing ealry than 5am in terminal 2, please wait driver at Starbucks Coffee shop (outside baggage claim); 4) If you would land in terminal 1, please wait driver outside baggage claim;
• Pick up time: 1) If you would land in Beijing early than 5am: Pick up time: 6:30am; 2) If you would land in Beijing at 5am-12pm : Pick up time will be two hours after flight arrival time.
• This trip last about 5 hours, plus the time(2 hours) to get out of airport and the time(2 hours) to catch flight, so it require at least 9 hours layover to make this trip happen.
• Visa Process: 1) Arrive in Beijing and get off the plane. 2) Follow signs to baggage claim, then you will find China immigration inspection. 3) Apply 24-144 hours visa(fill out a long white form beforehand) 4) After get visa, walk back to the regular line for immigration clearance. 5) Walk outside baggage claim to find your driver. 6) Driver will hold your name sign outside baggage claim.
