Highlights
  • Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Tiananmen Square is the largest city center square in the world, a symbol of Beijing, and also the political and cultural center of China. Tiananmen Square is located in the heart of Beijing and can accommodate one million people for grand gatherings. Tiananmen is a must see for tourists. Numerous buildings that serve as national symbols, such as the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the National Museum, the Great Hall of the People, the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, and the Tiananmen Square Tower, are located around Tiananmen Square. The common large-scale celebrations on TV are also held here. Tiananmen Square is a free of charge reservation for visitors, but there is a limit on the number of people per day. Moreover, making the reservation is particularly troublesome, and we hope to provide assistance to tourists from all over the world through this compensable service.

Additional Information

Tiananmen Square is a must-visit attraction in Beijing and serves as the political center. Due to limited daily reservations, you can use our reservation service to present your passport and pass directly through the security check. Please ensure you provide accurate passport information; otherwise, entry will be denied.

Friendly reminder: Avoid visiting during traditional Chinese holidays, such as May Labor Day (May 1st to May 5th), Summer Holiday (June 27th to August 30th), National Day (October 1st to October 7th), Winter Vacation, and Spring Festival (around January 28th to February 16th). During these times, reservations are hard to secure, and long queues can be extremely uncomfortable, often taking 1-3 hours for security checks.

Great service and real reservation. - You can trust these ticket reservations. It worked everything perfectly. We made also reservation for forbidden city and left there the same review. Bring your passport and come early. On the square its easy to move around but you have to wait in line first for security checks. It took at 8 oclock about 45 minutes on a tuesday. But that was only our experience. I can recommend it to visit the place.

Helpful booking service for visiting Tiananmen Square - The booking service was excellent, thanks very much for arranging the entry reservations. During the visit though, it took an hour to queue to get in, we ran out of time to see much of it so can't comment on what's inside apart from the gate and the square were grand.

You have to visit Tiananmen Sq - You have to have a pre-booked ticket to get into the Square and this Trip Advisor ticket works. Take passport because you will need it to get past police check point. Tiananmen East is the best subway stop and they check passport as you leave station. Well worth the visit. Mao's tomb only open in mornings. Walk round the back to see the original gate to the city and the arrow tower. No shade in the middle of Square on hot sunny day - people take umbrellas as shades. Refreshments available in shops on North and East sides

Good to experience - I was around when the uprising hit the world news, so it was interesting see the square. Had my passport checked 5 times before entry. The queue for Moa's mausoleum was long. THe school holiday queue was horrendous. As the square goes it is quite vast with a number of buildings was my take-home message. Good to put a face to a name, as the saying goes

Beware fraudsters - Booked the Reservation for our family. In the end, the organizer ignored the booking and did not make the Reservation. In the end we stood in front of the security who refused us entry.
